Troll King, malladrin, and anyone else who said basers are as qualified as the next guy to come into baseelim or elim and catch cheaters... you are wrong. The majority (not all, but most) are afraid or something to spec real cheaters. They also take way too long to respond to those calls in general. As i've said many other times, it takes like 3-4 calls to get them to come in and respond at all.

Fact: Zone Helpers do not have moderator authority in elim/baseelim.
Conclusion: Zone Helpers cannot use the *spec command in aforementioned arenas.

Fact: Most of the current <ZH>s are basers.
Conclusion: They do their job, which is to answer HELP calls, not cheaters.

Net conclusion: Stop harping on the baser/dueler issue, that's not getting you anywhere. If your sole complaint was that TW staffers are not doing their jobs, you might have a little more ground. Ergo:

You have been on staff yourself, so I would expect more insight to this--any call that is unanswered is only done so for 1 reason. That is there is noone to take it. Nobody purposely IGNORES a call. Even if it's the most retarded thing ever, ie

They at least get a !tell cheaterabuse. If no mod is awake to take a call, an <ER> will get on it if they have the time Seeing as it's not their primary job, if an <ER> is afk or hosting, they're naturally not going to spring for it. I can personally say that Akkaid (diakka) has been very good about covering when no mod is availible. Don't give me this bullshit about how people aren't doing their job because we're following procedure.

Dr. is short for Dr.Coiff, which i have only been using for the last 4 years.
Before that, I was Scorp which is a name i had carried over from my Sniper days. I quit playing from 99-2000 when i discovered that I wasnt going to be getting laid anymore if i continued to play SS while my halfnaked g/f layed in the bed beside my computer. Some people are thick headed Cops and they have to get their way, regardless of how incorrect their logic is and how many people prove them wrong. the people you are claiming are "proving" me wrong are all staffers or a few basers who arent on staff yet for the most part. there are also others on this thread who agree with me. Kim, Cyrus, Bob (SRB), Hero*, Cook, Anduril., hell... even Ice Storm, who disagrees with me on everything else, even agrees. And these are just the ones who've browsed this thread in like what, the past 2 days? there are many other non-basers who also think the ratio of basers:total # of staffers is way too high. the dueling side just isnt represented well. again, i dont think specific basers are bad people or bad candidates... it's just the whole thing is packed full of ?go base players and pubbers and thats not all that tw is.

Attacks <ZH> - dueler
Biernoot <ZH> - dueler/baser
Nycle <ZH> - dueler/baser

Biernoot and Nycle are 100% Basers. Sure they might duel once in a while, but that's no serious dueling. They go 5-10 or w/e. (no offense to those 2) but they just are basers.
And Attacks .. yah .. he is just a nothing at all Hahah
