    Retirement threads

    Can we put a stop to this? Make a forum staff policy to delete every "Hey guys I'm leaving" -thread on sight? Everyone who cares you're 'retiring' from a spaceship game you've propably already talked to in-game and they'll find the forum post quite useless. In fact, I find each and every one of these ridiculous. I find 'retiring' from this game ridiculous. I find trying to fish for attention with these retirement threads on the forums REALLY ridiculous. Laughable. Stop it.

                      I don't mind them as long as the person is a respectable and well known player in the game, AND if they are seriously quitting for good. Unfortunately 99% of the 'retirement posts' do not have both of these necessary qualities.

                        wow, i totally agree. besides, you don't "retire," you just stop playing. it's not like SS is a job and you've reached 65. also, 99% of the time when someone posts a "retirement" thread it's someone i don't know or have never spoken too.

                              offline during quicksand's victory in twld which made us the first squad to have an undefeated TWL season while winning every game 4v5.
