TWPS - Create a proposal if it bothers you this much. Personally i couldnt give a shit. As long as events are being hosted im happy

I am not promoting a new proposal, I simply try not to whine without offering a solution. I doubt that the TWPS was developed to suck all of the ideas/solutions out of all other forums.

As for something bothering me? I made a single post with my opinion and then defended it with another post. Hardly ranks as 'bothering me'. Sorry if I have offended people by trying to focus on something good coming out of this soap opera. Why even allow cutesy little sayings in advertisements? I don’t buy into the idea that putting these cutesy phases into the advertisement entices anyone to go play the event. So why not simply use standard advertisements and disallow anyone from ‘personalizing’ them? The objective should be simply to let people know an event is starting, it doesn’t need to be entertaining.

One of the advantages SubSpace has over other PC games is that there are people running it, and we can interact. I think its these little personal touches that make people relate to the game, and ultimately if the advertisments tickle our happy dicks then it'll make them enjoy the game. If we just have normal adverts we become another uniformed game - it'll be a step closer to playing against the PC, and we're not facists

Sometimes you need to have a custom message to describe something extra about the event if it's not standard. Such as like

"aaaaaah! wbs have super in ?go zombies - Not An <ER"

I wish everyone that cheats could blame it on stupidity, but apparently it only works for staff. Stupidity seems to be one of the hiring requirements.

well it depends what u class as a moronic staffer - i would of opted you the perfect example......

its not upto me to decide how many warnings for zoners, i sed a warning would of been better - and this would of been tats first one (go figure it out)
this could then be a system of 2 warnings and powers removed for x days, and a 3rd warning u get axed - unless in more extreme circumstances

now theres a suggestion for you to dwel on

This would be the second warning. The first one was after he was banned and axed from staff for cheating. You think letting him back on staff should mean his track record is swept clean? Good thing you don't run things.

Well let's "dwel" on it. The first offense was not just an abuse of power but a common offense that staff bans on site for - cheating. Why should staff get 2 warnings for what everyone else gets banned instantly for? So yes, that was an extreme circumstance.

After that, Tats should never have been let back on staff. But he was, and was on a VERY short leash - meaning he already had his last warning. The abuse of power just showed he couldn't handle having power. So he's gone.

If a staffer cheats and abuses he shouldn’t be on staff to begin with, so why bothering warning him.

Well good thing you didn't respond to anything I said so I have to assume that for some reason you think Tats deserved to have a clean slate when staff took him back after he cheated. I think everyone in this thread (even you one day, maybe) can agree that that is ridiculous based on what happened.

I left staff because I became inactive and rather than hosting 5-10 events a month and taking up space I decided to quit. Don't worry though, I'll probably be back when I have more time. It says Gen <ER> because I haven't gotten around to changing and I will, like I said, be Gen <ER> again sooner or later.
