I'll answer your damn question. it's obvious that going to private arenas doesn't promote basing in pubs. However, I think what everyone but you is saying on this thread is that if you'd stop killing everyone in pubs with your level 3 bombs, a lot less people would go to private arenas. Thanks Blast, priv basers do nothing for pub basers. Granted neither do LTs, but we don't shy away from pubs because something is annoying.

first, going to priv basing did not in anyway stop people from basing in pub. to say that it did means that you are retarded. pubs usually have a couple of hundred people, taking 16 out at a time, thats kind of a drop in the bucket. not to mention the fact that pub basers aren't brainless retards that don't know what to do when priv basers aren't around.

"priv" basing encouraged basing by providing an arena where the focus was simply basing. You don't need to dodge spawners, worry about having a base terr, or constantly watch radar for flashing white L3 bombs. You base. And thats it. What exactly LT's did for basing, or anything for this zone besides provide instant population or promote the idiotic, lazy, and lame tendencies of its players is beyond me.
