Someone get a mod to take down these facts at a specific time and post them in this thread. I want to see the actual TW population on a normal weekday at its peak, just for the hell of it.


+ During the peak, I want to know the actual number of bots that are online

+ How many players in the ?go afk arena

• AFK arena pop: _____

+ How many players in ?go # private arenas (pretty easy, just esc+a and look at the amount of players in each # arena)

• Private arena pop: _____

- How many players on the server total (bots and all, the number of connections to the server at the time)

How to make TW die even faster: bring to everyones attention how few people actually play.

Will you get rid of the fucking afk areans and this stupid survey, one of the only yhings keeping this game alive is the 50 bots and 50 afks players that raise the overall level up to over 200 all the time. If we start telling the people who actually play that there are only 100 or so online, they will lose interest, and before you know it, all you'll have left is bots and afks. Course it will be easier for you to conduct your survey then.

I killed Kahlan 5 times in the afk arena yesterday to DC him. It was fun. Yes, if you were wondering why your client exited, that was me.

There's 421 connections to trenchwars right now. Take into consideration the people in the # arenas, and the number of bots. (The more players, the more bots). There were what, 67 or 63 bots on monday morning with 200 connections ? then like 100 people that were in ?go afk and # arenas, so there were only ~40 people actually playing.

anyone who has consistently played the game over the last 5 years can see a decline but for the new members we want to attract to log in to the forums for the first time excited to see a cool retro game they like, also with with new blood to the forums needed too, only to see the worst case population stats ... and doom and gloom merchants :/

i don't think this will last forever but least not hasten our own demise :/

There is no way, older statistics aren't saved.
I've let it save all stats from about a year ago (imagine the size of the database), however there is no way to currently view it.
