heres some advice since i know your a newbie, if you like dueling then learn warbird, if you like basing then you can keep your lanc but its better to learn spider...

and if you wanna be good at both get good at wb, spider is cake after that anyway, its just aim and energy conservation

i just stated that i highly doubt this kid played 4 or 5 years because he would have wanted to play something more fun than public, and probably would have learned that lanc is pretty much a bad ship, was made to help newbs aim back in the day, with the new settings maybe its tolerable but its still not as good as spider or wb in my opinion, and theres only one small place for it in the basing community, and when i say small I mean really small...like he needs to join diso and be cumulonimbus type good at lanc to even be added in games


also, what have you accomplished in this whole little "get more population" escapade noah?

I was the first one to ever mention anything about mpogd.com look it up, at least I give good ideas on top of still playing the game, what have you done noah? and you calling me a newb is quite funny, but whatever, your a baser and are not good at anything else, so you really shouldnt try to judge duelers?

I've done mine to front ideas and initiative to staff. I'm not attacking what you've done earlier, but what you are doing now. Even in this post you are referring to him as "kid", showing little respect to those who actually wants to join in the community and bring some fresh blood.

I've stopped playing this game after years of playing, and I've had my year long staff run, where I did mine to help the zone. I haven't been playing competetive for 3 years+. I'm not going to go into an e-peen contest, I don't think I have to prove anything to you.

I'm simply saying shut the fuck up with your retarded ego-complex when we have someone who actually wants to learn the deeper ways of the game. What he has done in the past is insignificant as long as he wants to take it further, and contribute to the steady population. I can perfectly understand him saying that he isn't a newbie after 4-5 years, that might be even longer than you.

Anyway, I'm stopping this discussion in this thread. I don't want to derail it more. My point was that it's useless to bring new players to the core of the game, just to treat them like shit so they leave.

As to everyone that reckons lanc is useless in basing ... no, just no, lancs are good for terring hunting, need an extra shot on the terr, but have more energy after shooting unlike wb. Personally Ive seen completely newb squads do vaguely well in a bd due to playing a decent lanc.

go base is hardly ever full, and the few times I have tried, there were no lanc positions. *shrug* I thought it was designed in from the programmers like that.

How hard could it be to implement lancs in ?go duel and TWD. Not that I ever use lanc but I mean come on... you duel with spiders you can duel with anyship, including spec.
