some of you lazy coders make a captains queue to the bots in javduel, base and wbduel, it's kinda ridiculous that the arena needs to die before a staffer starts it and/or people requesting cap never gets it.

80% of the people in there just suicide anyway, so the competition is poor vs. twd, yet obviously it is a good way to prac for twd/twl, even if the captains are "newbies" (this covers 96% of the players anyway) they still get a chance to prac in an arena that is way better than ?go javs. and more importantly maybe some new players get to play once in a while

Its austin, he picks himself and a friend. Staff should only pick the captains that ask for it in blue. PM's make it seem unfair.

Remove botpowers from those who aren't in staff. This clears up any confusion as to who is actually starting the games. How the hell can you pm the person operating the bot when it's another random baser with little reputation?

If we need to hire more ZH's to do this, then do so.

i have wbduel powers, and I'm always fair about it, as are alot of those that I see that DO have jav/base/wbduel powers.

staff members that have wbduel powers rarely come when called, and they are lazy, not to mention half the people on staff are terrible at it, and should not be staff


I think this is an isolated incident in which austin had javduel powers and capped his friends over jones a bunch of times. as I said before, I think austin then needs to be talked to by a staff member, and maybe get threatened to lose his powers. Thats all it really takes.

Depends on how fast you said Cap Jones, if it wasn't as fast as the two PMers then obviously you won't get it, but I think if you managed to say it the minute it said "Javelin Dueling: Freq 1 vs. Freq 2", then something might be wrong there.

Maybe people need to just start only accepting cap requests in public messages instead of private.

Newbies get to cap because once they see people shouting "Cap!", then obviously they've gotta try that the next time a game starts...But when that happens you usually have people say "...What now?" and can't add.

I think javduel and baseelim should be used more, hence why I still stand by killing ?go javs, Javelin's already have enough places they're dominating, tourny and such, so it's pretty much spreading the population needlessly for several practice arenas that are just dividing people, what's the point?

Saying "cap" first doesn't mean you get the captainship of a team, it's up to the one that is starting the bot to pick captains. Saying "cap" only makes it clear to that one that you're willing to take the captainship of a team.

Sometimes newbies have to be made captain just to have them learn how to operate the bot and be a good captain. If we don't do that there won't be anyone left to captain once the lazy vets leave.
