I personally think the idea of 1 'elected staffer' is impossible to have. Then it becomes a popularity contest rather than finding an appropriate player to fill the position. No offense to those mentioned... But honestly do we want a Vys, lizard fuel or ignite voted (or bought) into staff? They are unsuitable for such a position and could really hurt the zone. If such a player existed would not the deans have searched them out and brought them to the staff level already? Well its just my 2 cents.

some players get overlooked, like kahlan for instance, was he not made staff until he was 2 seconds from quitting? Sometimes you can be a great helper, and staff may not notice because your not in their inner circle of friends or squads.

Banning people for lag-cheating is based upon assumption. Someone has to make the call but a lot of the time it is just going to be plainly incorrect and that needs to be acknowledged.
