Elim and what is wrong with it

spawning happens.....what angers me is when sum1 spawns, u dont shoot them, turn around and fly away. Then the person who has just spawn shoots u in the back as u r moving away from them. Now that i consider lame and an admission that the other person has no skill at all!

I used to get super pissed about spawning, but now I promote it. It might ruin the game for some other guy who hasn't given in to it yet, but it makes the game less frustrating for you.

it's part of the game, accept it, or be destined to hate elim.

you are all gay. elim is straight foward, be the last one alive. there is nothing wrong with vulching or spawning. i dont spawn everyone, but i do on occasion to pad my score. wanna know how i get MVP in league games so often? I know when the opponent isnt expecting me to strike, i know when they can't defend. wanna know how? because i vulch the hell out of everyone in elim as practice.

Yeah i played in elim for first time ever (been in TW for years but never bothered, just played public) and i was pretty disgusted. Its full of moronic "elite" who do nothing but bitch when they die. Its SAD! I got called a newb like 10 times even when i ranked easily in the top ten.. i think i was 5th or 4th out of about 25. That aint bad for first time in there.

as for spawning, well i dont go out of my way to hunt people who are spawning, but if u appear right in my path im gonna kill ya. Sorry, but its that or die.

vulching i dont do often, and if i did its usually an accident. i like to fight a guy one on one (and while coming around for another pass on the guy i often shoot the poor guy waiting to kill me or the guy im dueling when we're vulnerable) ud be suprised how often it happens, they dont really expect us (me and the other dueler) to fire at someone else.

In TW pubs, you play with others. In Elim, you play with yourself, so it should be called Masturbation instead of Elim. lol

Although I understand the occasional need to compare my manhood against someone else's, I never understood why Elim was allowed to evolve to the point that it has.
IMHO, TW was developed with team play in mind. This is seems to be the case since having a base and flag ownership is the primary objective.
However, I presume that as emotions rose during basing matches, it was inevitable that one’s manhood would be questioned. Hence, Elim was born. Anyone who has ever spent more than a few minutes in Elim knows that the chat is about as egotistical and self-serving as it gets. Elim is like a perpetual slam dunk contest. It singles out one aspect of a game and attempts turns it into a ‘game’ by itself. But just like a perpetual slam dunk contest, it can be reduced to people sitting around trash talking at each other.
I just wish that TW didn’t stray from pure team-orientated games, and did more to ‘reward’ team play. Special notice of ‘MVP’s’ and those with the highest points only feeds those people who play for individual reasons.
