Is Pure_Luck abusing his powers?

Can you explain to me why I served a 2 year ban for using ce in a private arena infront of a smod at the time. He prized me a Thor and asked me to make it infinate in order to join his squad.
The bot soon disapeared and pure luck was quick to the call and ban me for life.
It wasn't untill of late when a fellow freind and a smod at the time told me pure luck used to ask his staff how they could get me banned.
Is it right that one staff member can get away with having an unfair advantage over other players and me serve a 2 year ban for doing something what was asked by a smod?
We need a change in staff, removing <ZH> has crippled the zone, and the new recruits to staff over the past 2-3 years have been a joke.
<ER> only host events they like and think hosting is their job title only.
Staff rarely answer ?help calls but are quick to answer ?cheater calls, which shows staff would rather ban someone than help someone.
I've realised that if i type ?go eg and do a help call in extreme games that my call will get answered within seconds.
When new players come to the zone they don't get the help they need. We need a change in staff and I think many agree with me.

mods have never been concerned with helping people. All they do is sit around waiting for a chance to ban somebody. Theres like 50 people on staff, why cant players ever get help? But of course the second somebody says jew in pub chat 5 little faggots run out of hiding to harass the player. The mods need to get their priorities straight.

That said, I didn't play TWD or league. And even with the res advantage, I wasn't a very good player. :P

This isn't a big deal. Making a big over this small issue instead of something more important does the zone a disservice.

I wouldnt say its a small issue, the leader of the entire zone is cheating. Being sysop shouldnt mean you get a huge advantage in the game, sure some messing around is acceptable, but not in official squad matches and shit. What if he had been cheating in TWL matches? I thought the point of twd/twl was to put 2 teams on level playing fields, but I guess since throws money into the zone he can do whatever he wants. Makes perfect sense.

pl doesnt have to prove anything on this issue aside fromt he fact that it wont happen again.

I doubt this has only happened a couple of times. I'd be willing to bet that hes been using 1920x1080 in every twd game, we only know about it now because they show player resolutions on the site. It doesn't matter how shitty he is at the game, he still abused his powers. If anybody else cheated this much theyd probably get a lifeban. IMO, PL should get a lifetime TWD ban, he clearly deserves it. For some reason PL thinks rules dont apply to him which is shitty, because nobody can do anything about it. If PL was a decent person, he would step down and let somebody who actually cares about the good of the zone be sysop.

As for you claiming it isn't accidental. Please prove it. I am taking PL's word because I have nothing better to go on and he has proved to be an honest and honorable enough man to keep this game alive this long, so why would he start lying now?

Look, no one's on trial here. If anyone is, it would be p_l. He has to prove it was an accident to convince the people that think he's abusing his powers, I don't have to prove it was on purpose. I'm just saying its HIGHLY unlikely that he "accidentally forgot" to change reso multiple games over multiple days.

Witness, M_M God, Weaver (Inactive I know), Jacklyn, AROBAS, beasty...And I could go on and on with people that aren't even on staff. No, I'm not talking about myself either. I tried to contribute to the zone, I went against my better judgment and applied for staff, even though I can't stand most of you, and despite having more Yes votes than No, my app still got removed because I am generally not liked by the powers that be. I offered my knowledge, and said I would curb my ego for the betterment of the zone, and got denied. Not much I can do about that. I stick to my guns, I do think a lot of things need to change. Spread the responsibility around.

I mean no offense to any of my fellow staffers that you listed, but I feel that none of them are capable of taking over the position that PL holds. If you want reasons, then ask me personally; I do not want to publicly cite what I personally feel are their short comings.


As for your application to staff, you don't need to be staff to help this game. I ran the 2nd season of TWDT without even being staff. Also, there are always open donation mr. deep pockets.

Think back to when pretty much everyone wanted to be on Paladen. Paladen ran this zone and most of the good staffers were on Paladen. Now that Spastic/Devine/Alf runs the zone, I don't see people dying to join except the same core of people that follow each other everywhere like lost puppies. In fact, Ive had the priviledge of squadding with several staff members over the past few years, and every single one of them (no exaggeration) hates the way things are run. Difference is I have the balls to say it out loud.

Let's just estimate this since I don't know the #'s 100%. When YOMAMA!!! and KJW were deans is the time that I believe you are referring to. Let's just take a shot in the dark and say that was from about 2001/2 - 2004ish. At that time this game was 3-5 years old and we had nearly triple our constantly active population. Now we have a much smaller player base, the majority of which are long standing players not new players. That is 6-9 more years of grudges being founded and 6-9 more years of people cycling in and out of staff. We are drawing staffers from a thin amount of the population that aren't known cheaters. I am sure you and everyone else in this game has a list of people they hate/won't squad with. Yeah well that list gets intensified on staff.

So to summarize:
- Game was young, people hated eachother less
- More people, less cheaters = more staffers able to recruit
- Less people had been staff, and thus more wanted to be staff

Now those factors aside, I will concede that I am not a fan of major parts of how staff are run. We have cycled through something like 14 deans in 3 yrs, most of which have been highly ineffective compared to YOMAMA!!! and KJW, however I don't see that as PL's fault. He hasn't necessarily had the best candidates; and when he did they would always quit or go inactive. Some people just aren't into service positions. We work our asses off for your pleasure and enjoyment, nothing else.
