yeah i have no idea. to be honest i dont really see me moderating anything right now. id definately like to have some forum input on ideas, but as far as moderation goes ... ?
put back Useless Crap and Trash Talk in the new posts
pretty much not give a shit about sigs in general. probably ditch the youtubes though.
if you are a tightass stay out of the melee forums. people would be able to get away with a bit more there.
i doubt id close a thread unless it was a completely sweet badass thread that some dipshit who sucks at forums bumps it and starts to ruin it.
id like to see a hall of fame section that shows the posts of the years and just great threads in general. regardless of whether i make forum mod or not i will help to look for these threads.
the t0ne threads turn out entertaining because of the comments usually. and him defending himself and posting more links that noone will ever click.
l1tw: i cant really see the point of you, but the last thread where you jizzed all over your pink and blue shoes could have been worse.

i'll have to discuss this with hms. when i know precisely what's expected of me, i'd be happy to make all the details transparent to the public.Originally posted by Ephemeral View PostJust my opinion, but the light hearted approach is perhaps best left for when things are not in quite as dire situation, although I guess it is true that the band played while the Titanic was sinking.
But it is obvious that no one quite knows what the responsibilities of the new hires really will and won’t be. Why would anyone even want a job where the job description isn’t completely understood? How can an election be anything more than popularity contest if the people running and the people voting don’t really understand what the job is that is being filled?
The only thing I see here are people voting against an existing person, a ‘anything is better than what we have’ vote. Since this is the case, show us your tits or get the fuck out (in other words, this is why the campaign is light hearted).
So the first improvement I would like to see is that the position(s) are fully defined, including the extent of the responsibilities and autonomies. Then in that context voters would be able to shape an opinion about candidates. Additionally those who won will be able to be accurately measured as to their success and/or failures.
But this is just my opinion and I could be wrong.

however, in all seriousness, what would you like to see improved and how would you like to see it done? i'm open to any and all suggestions, especially ones coming from a guy with a solid head on his shoulders.
