Aren't books written with dark type on a light background (yes i know u said monitor, stay with me)? My retinas are still not on fire and I like to read. My kindle has dark type on white background and I'd rather have it be that way. I tried the light type on dark background on the kindle app on iPod and it's rather annoying. ZOMG THE FORUM IS BLACK TEXT ON WHITE BACKGROUND CURRENTLY ... HOW ARE YOUR EYES!? :/

Also whoever said "world war two trench warfare" .... really? I mean, REALLY? Open history book plz. ty.

And on the subject -- I do like the tw.org skin and it would look fantastic on the forums -- but I also agree with pandagirl about the text -- dark type > light type.

there is definitely going to be a dark and light skin, as well as a mobile skin. and i'll put up previews of all of them so everyone can put in their two cents before we settle on final versions of each.
