NEW Pub LEVI and Small X in Testing

It adds a new style of game play. Look man I dont like super LT's as well. That said Levis know if they die in the Terr they will be hunted normally in spawn.
And I agree it can kill pub base games. Then on the other side at least the ZH are trying new things and giving their free time to a totally free game.
With that said farewell I hope you come back because changes mean people care and changes mean new stuff to hook people.

Have you considered (the resistance to make even tiny changes in TW is incredible) to change the levi into something else

Ive always made the comparison, playing counter strike for example, the levi would be a guy with no team holding a giant mortar outside of the map firing into the map just for the fun of making other people miserable, adding -100% to the gameplay. The original idea of the levi is flawed from its very beginning

i dont know, make an emp fighter-bomber, a tank breaching ship, etc... something creative that adds to the basing... u cant sacrifice to keep i dunno 10 lteers happy the gameplay of the entire pub

since the levi rollback ive stopped playing altogether, its a change for the worse

Doing something with the TK money is a smart move. The jackpot idea's nice, though I think giving it to the player who was killed makes the most sense, as it smoothes it over.


Ah. Wait, damn, no. That will inevitably cause people to leap in front of bombs in an effort to be TKd and steal money from other players. I can practically guarantee it. And it's so much easier to just give it to them than making a jackpot, heh... ah well.

This seems like a logical idea to implement because for the player being tked, they won't be hurt as much.

My idea is for ALL tk money (50 pubbux per tk) for both teams get put into a collective pot and at the end of round the pot is divided among the winning team.

Speaking solely from a rule enforcement standpoint, there have not been any spike in teamkilling reports. In fact, they're actually lower now than they have been in the last year or so. People are also getting used to a newer, more powerful Levi, so of course some accidents are bound to happen. I think so far it's been a tremendous success and a great addition to pub. I think the positive reception to it far outweighs any negative.

Its a shame pub can't be coded so your bombs don't effect your teammates energy making it impossible to Tk. Perhaps if lev's in base is an issue, can it be coded so levs can't attach to a terr inside base?

Problem with that is you would be penalzing ALL levi pilots who want to base. In proper hands the levi is a great basing tool, it can lead to disaster also I am very aware. If Levis are not allowed to tach in base then the tkers have indirectly changed the game play.

This definitely is something we need to look at more. Levis in base have never been more willing to TK. The idea seems to be that if you can kill an enemy, a TK is no problem. Intentional TK is mostly what is both reported and acted on in the zone, such as when there are no enemies in base and a Jav makes a shot to TK.

But the first kind of TK by Levis is still intentional. They just don't care, so long as they get kills. They also don't receive any monetary penalty, as some on staff objected to this, so TKing half the team to kill 2 enemies is still profitable. And unlikely to be reported.

Excessive TK is, iirc, still illegal even if unintentional. Perhaps players need to be more willing to report this, and mods more willing to respond to it.

Why not hit TKers in their wallet? Every TK in Flag Room by levi or jav should be minus 1000 pubbux for the tker! If player does not have 1000 pubbux..then you go negative, and need to work to get back to zero. Bet that would slow some bullshit down in the Flag Room.
