spiders suck
they suck in open space and even in closed areas they suck
i can kill any spider in the game easily in a warbird
the only thing they are good for is dying

and thier bullets are lame too. they are like lancs: any newbie can fire a few times and kill somebody without needing much aim

why does anybody use spiders anyway

I don't even believe you could kill a newbie lev in a wb let alone a newbie spider, which is what you're talking about, right? Because then I would have to agree: 'the only thing they [newbie spids] are good for is dying.' Just like any ship.

PPS: U said, any noob can get into a spider and shoot a few times and kill a person. Hmm. Lets look at other ships:

-WB - 1 hit kill bullet. Needed tools: aim

-Spider - 1/5 hit kill bullet. Needed: tools: aim, and good aim, to cram all 5 bullets into a moving target to actually kill it

-Jav - 1 hit kill bomb with nice blast radius. Needed tools: bomb trajectory aiming

-Levi - 1 hit kill everything. Needed tools: Excellent piloting skills to kill enough prey to earn 20 bty and attach to a terr

-Terr - like spider, except much slower bullets. Needed tools: Levi.

-Weasel - 1 hit kill bullet. Needed tools: none

-Lanc - 1 hit kill bullet. Needed tools: Multifire

-Shark - 1 hit kill bomb/mine. needed tools: none (you can just mine the main entrance and get ez kills.)

So as you see, spiders require even more skill than wb.

what i'm saying is you can get easy kills just by randomly shooting in a flagroom battle... this requires about the same amount of skill as a lanc firing down the tube

a wb will own even an expert spider easily. i bet i could kill any one of you in a spider with a wb

and i have seen a ?go base game and even played in a couple thats where the lame part of spiders applies especially

Cute Even if you are good you don't say it, that puts you into the category of people in elim saying "ez" everytime they kill someone.

Poop, spiders take more skill then a warbird because it is not 1 shot kill. You need much more aim to kill some one in a spider then in a wb, and if you are a warbird in a flagroom battle, you can probably get twice as many kills randomly shooting then a spider.

Your 2 statements are sort of contradictory. You say spiders suck and die easily, yet you say their bullets are lame (implies they are too strong). Any good spider can kill wbs 80% of the time in open or closed spaces. In fact, good spiders will prob have the highest ratio in pub if they play for real. Spiders (excluding sharks and terrs) are the core of a good basing team.
