Did you ever have a squad you want to get on really bad when you were just starting out or were looking for a squad?

When I started playing SS I joined U F O. Ufo became Diso a while back, and I wasn't asked to join. I've been on a few good squads, but after going through TWL with NS it just wasn't fun. There were some members who just liked to whine about how we never did win ect.. I've never really asked to join any squads but I'd rather be on a squad with people who just like to play the game, not argue over strategy or game play. RB are some nice people who aren't that bad at basing. They are also attracting better basers now. I thought the idea keeping an open door policy with a squad would kill it within a week, but it seems that RB have been able to keep the crap out while keeping a wide and dedicated player base.Comment

I came into ss during the Elusive - Siege days and people were very anti-elusive, but i thought they were all just jealous (which for the most part, they were) So the first squad I wanted on really bad was Elusive.The only TWO TIME TWLJ All-Star and TWLB All-Star who never played a game.

I was usually invited to squads and just join any squad that invited me, never been too picky about it. Right now, I'm IN my dream squad, an active well rounded squad that isn't afraid to lose and that (hopefully) has a roster full of loyal devoted players that will get us into TWL with WORK, not just a squad that puts together a couple of vets and can get in right away. Working is half the fun of this game, I know I love it.
It's even more fun to lead the squad, sure I don't get to play as much because of it, but I love coaching, axing, recruiting, and keeping everything in order, or at least trying to
I have so much more fun on this squad than any of the other 500000 squads I've been on, and I'm planning on it to stay that way.

USB, and NS-United back during the Speedball days. Instead I joined a squad in Farm League called Zyklon-B that had a deeper squad than either of those by the dissolution of season 2. I spent a lot of time trying to get in to TWL, not really caring which squad I was on, just "in". Turns out I should've just joined a certain pub squad way back before Season 5 instead of going the route I did. Live and learn.
