  • (RoboHelp)>I feel that you were given suitable information already.

RoboHelp often responds to ?help in an incredibly useless fashion, as in the following text.

No one can kill me> ?help what is the damage range of a single terr burst?
Message has been sent to online moderators
(RoboHelp)>The Terrier (Ship 5), or Terr, is an attack carrier. It is quite fast and is the only ship that can be attached to. To switch to a Terrier, press <Esc> followed by <5>.
(RoboHelp)>If this is not helpful, type :RoboHelp:!next to retrieve the next response.
    :RoboHelp:!next
(RoboHelp)>When used, a burst sends several bouncing bullets flying outwards from your ship. The burst will not damage enemies until
(RoboHelp)>If this is not helpful, type :RoboHelp:!summon to request live help.
    :RoboHelp:!summon
(RoboHelp)>I feel that you were given suitable information already.

When this occurs, no ZH comes to respond about it at all. That just makes ?help especially annoying. Does RoboHelp actually take the 'on it'?

Robohelp doesn't even tell us you try !summon. There is no way to know you didn't get the right answer. Mostly when I suspect Robohelp gives wrong answer I look up the answer given and respond to the caller. But when you are a bit busy, at times you take Robohelps answer for granted.

Thank you Zerzera. My main gripe is that RoboHelp decides whether or not you have been helped appropriately. I'll just type out my ?help all over again next time as I think IlyaZ suggested. Not very efficient but I suppose it deals with stupid ?helps with minimal fuss when needed.

I don't like RoboHelp besides him tallying our responses, but I think some ZHs just don't know some of the answers, it's pretty sad, but it's a solution I guess.

I suggest people ask for a human being's response next time they use ?help. Though I suggest when RoboHelp says on it, ZHs should try and help the person anyways, unless it's something simple like "how do you shoot." Some already do, they're answers just don't count, not that it should matter though (stupid promotion system).

RoboHelp is almost as bad as TriviaBot. Yes DoCk>, your creations suck donkey balls. Not to mention, everyone knows automated technical support is about as useful as a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.

Oh well, when I get answers from actual people, I always get wrong answers. Unless Guano takes my call.

Yeah... robohelp is no good. Not once have a had a question that it has answered, but then again I guess I haven't used it enough or know everything it's programmed to tell me.

Depends on who put the information into the bot and how much.
I bet I can get more information out of my PC than out of you.
To the answer of nockm I couldn't say much more than that the damage rate would differ from 0 to mortal.
Same as I don't know alot of things about the settings in TW, otherwise I could just make a TW-clone.

A bot to answer calls is not a bad thing, it answers the call before a ZH could even read the question, yet the problem is in the errors. The bot, I guess, gets triggered by keywords in the question. So the bot filters this and lets you read some answers that might be fitting your question. I think the mistake here is that you give the bot the "ability" to judge wether it gave the correct answer or not. And wont even send ZHs a sign that the person probably didn't get the correct answer.

So in 90% of the "easy calls" made by newbies about something as "what is burst" the bot works timesaving for them and ZHs. But with those more complex questions it shouldn't be able to block a !summon.

I want to add here that if you would let a person answer the newbies question it will result in many more questions, and so it would be better to have a person to answer the question and then give the newbie some more information about the game and some hints and tips.

on a side note <ZH>'s dotn answer calls taken by robohelp even if !summon most of the time bc the robohelp takes the credit for the call by saying "on it" so therefor the <ZH> dont get nething outa it ..cept maybe Zerz he mite take it
