Today is Rememberance Day in Canada, and I believe Veteran's day in the US. It marks the anniversary of the signing of the peace treaty that ended the Great War (World War 1).

Ok, this is going to be my biggest attempt at a rant ever, so bear with me:

First of all, I would like to begin my pointing out the fact that you, dimboy, hosted ww5 at least once or twice. So by saying you have a problem endorsing real life issue's in a 2d space ship game, and hosting an event based on real events is contradictory and your entire argument should be invalidated.

So it isn't really a rant, but hey, I tried.

And I would just like to say, veterans day (the US holiday) is a load of bull shit. The fact that we [americans] need a special day to remember people who died in war, instead of making every day one where we don't forget our history is idiotic. Today was made out to be a day to remember those in Iraq, first of all, they are not veterans, we are more in war then we were when we bombed baghdad. Secondy, why not remember the Iraqi's we slaughter on a day to day basis because they could be terrorists, when we were there to overthrow sadamm, the man with invisible weapons of mass destruction.

Well both my grandfathers fought in the second world war veh. They risked Their lives so that in turn I would end up with a better future. There is no braver act in my book. And they had friends die in front of them over there in europe, and Africa and they want us to remember those who died to give us a better future. That's not bullshit at all.
