Well Sarien, I am not sure you grasp what this thread is about, this post was to make aware of what is and isn't according to american law. Also to enlighten anyone that didn't know but may have wondered. I also think your "?ignore" idea won't work. Since people can change nics and return. One can make an ignore.txt, but again one would have to keep adding names. If I am crusading for , if you want to call it that. Would be that certain sexual induendo's and references be bannable talk and should not be allowed in pub chat. Every time there is a nic that has a feminine ring to it every guy in this game begins to pelt them with some sexual induendos.. Some of these names have under age girls or boys attached to them. Yes they can hear this kind of talk any where outside the game, but why does it make it acceptable in game. I don't think you're getting what the tread is about or maybe I am not explaining it well enough, I am not sure. But what I do know is your attacking my character.

Yes Lucon, like you mention to me in game, your post wasn't worth the time it took you to post it. Ajaxee, I really don't think Telcat is the problem, I have seen groups of people starting flame wars or what have you just to kill a topic , those are the people that need to be removed. It's people like Tigerex that set out to drag a topic way off base that it dies, that is who the forum mods need to be having a look at. If the only thang you can attack is my use of slang words or my "character based soley on my choice of a name" then you really have nothing constructive to add to the thread and really don't need to post in it.

So from this point on if I feel you have not meet my criteria for a responce then I will not be addressing you. I won't put your name on ignore, because I am sure you might have some useful information on another topic somewhere that I may like to read.

again, i don't think that's a problem. even panda herself said the problem is in PM's, and you have admitted in a previous post that if it's a PM, then it's non-bannable. so explain again why it's so necessary for staff to spend time to change the current system?

also, you said "certain sexual innuendos and references"; i'm totally curious, would you mind laying out the guidelines of what would get a person banned?

and even if a person leaves, creates another name and comes back, over and over again...if that person is being ignored every single time they create a new name they are going to get bored and eventually realize their target is not going to provide them with the attention they seek. it's all about attention. deny them of the attention, they move on to the next target.
