Spastic is not dissolving

I posted this because almost everyone on the squad has been asked to join some other squad ever since P_L left. That, and to stop people from asking if we are dissolving.

if i were captain of spastic i would have dissolved it right after twl. things only could have gone downhill from there, and i would have accomplished all i wanted to with the squad. that's just me though.

Well you must have a strange way of looking at things then. Spastic as a squad is much stronger than it ever was last year, and although I can't speak for the captains, I know it means a lot more to them than just winning TWLB.

What we wanted to accomplish with Spastic:

Our TWL Season 1: We were just a bunch of newbie LTers who decided to try something different. So a few of us decided to try our hand in basing instead of annoying basers and found it to be pretty fun. My expectations anyways was to just make TWL and win a few games, to show that LTers aren't that newbie. Needlessly to say last year's result in TWLB exceeded our expectations.

As for Our Season 2 I think we have two goals:
1. Continue basing in TWLB and repeat our title to prove that the first time wasn't a fluke. As warportal congratulated us after last year's TWLB, he said it's easy to win one but much harder to show continued success at the top so we are trying to stay as one of the top basing squads.

2. Qualify for another TWL league, right now we are looking at javs. People have called Spastic only a 1 league squad, which is true but we had only played one season before. So our next goal is to expand to make TWL for another league this season and hopefully win a few games there.

I don't see that things will go downhill for Spastic after TWLB. Many of our players now: Stayon, Necromotic, Stabwound, Nockm, and Greven for example joined afterwards so we have improved for Season 2. Perhaps you believe that if we don't win TWLB this year, things will go downhill. It's a fair argument, but if we can qualify for another league and still remain one of the top basing squads Spastic will still grow and become a better squad than now.

Ya spastic wasnt exactly a TWLB threat until they picked up some ppl who were real basers and P_L played terr 20 hrs a day and got good Also isnt hard to do well when everyone on ur roster (when u started) was fairly active and played many hrs a day to practice spider/whatever ship they played most. Tho u were impressive in playoffs I never imagined u guyz doin that especialy how u guys werent that great in the begining of season. I guess u guyz started to mold at the perfect time.

Last twlb season, FLUKE.

Spas looks like it'll always be one of the better basing squads. So it's good to see you're not dissolving over one player. That'd be lame ass.

Dunno why PL said there was nothing left to do b/c you guys won twlb LAST season. Like people said, one championship is one thing. Staying at the top is another thing. IF a squad is really good they should take the trophy 3 out of 5 seasons and be in the top playoff spots all those years. Or do well over a few seasons IMHO.

It'd be sad if another good squad dissolves. IMHo squads dissolve too often here in SS/TW. We need more good squads to last for several years.

it wasn't a fluke, Jackie who the fuck are you to say what is and isn't a fluke in TWL seeing as who u are. Spastic should win twlb again this season once they figure out their main lineup. RB will be the dissapointment this season coming up because you guys all have ego problems and will end up arguing and fighting when you lose.
