Wasn't that ?go basing arena that very nice arena where anyone could join in, but always when it got going some fucking moron entered and said, 'wow, there is alot of people inhere! We could start ?go base!'
The mayor error that ?go basing had was that levis were allowed, and alot of people ruined the game by hopping in one.

I've stated it b4, get top squads to recruit a few newbs that ?go base a lot...and maybe have a few spastic and a-s players join lesser squads to help them out by volunteering. RB has been inactive lately...but guessing it very small phase, we don't need many new players except for a terr or shark. But if u guys wanna bd some more try to spread out. As simple as that.

Agreed. You got top squads with 30+ basicaly pure basers on and they are yellling about others not having enough. Well spread the welth a little, stop hogging all the top recruits, and maybe someone will play u. You have to remember stab, squads are worried about qualifying, yes even now a few months away. No one who is qualifying wants to play spastic alot bc its a very hard game to win, almost unwinable actualy. You also have to remember like said above, this is the off-season. People dont like to play competativly year around like it seems u do. People like to take some time off, come on for maybe an hr/2 a day if that and go out and stuff. Plus u got schools which just started. People do have lives u know and they like to use the time between TWL to have fun.

Im sure in a few months when TWL gets closer you'll have the euro squads (mambo, BC, Inc, Diso, Sk8) getting alot more active in basing, and you forget pallies are still on vacation. Once they start gettin back online im sure they'll usualy have enough to base vs u. I think the biggest problem is there are more euro basing squads then American ones, so u guys dont see the others.

You wont see much improvement with ur idea anyway, the biggest problem with basing is the rosters. Why would a 1 league squad (lets use a-s) need 40 ppl on there roster? You only need 8 for TWLB, u only need 8 to TWBD. Cut that in 1/2 and u can make 2 squads. Why would spastic a 1 league squad need 33, especialy when they are probably the favorits this year. Cut 10 off of that and u got another squad being active/being created. Melee has 38 players, inc 27, Rb 38. Add that up, thats 176 players just in 5 squads who only do 1 league. Thats not adding the squads like Venom, dice, mambo, diso, pallies who are in other leagues too. I think there is clearly enough basers just u guys have way to big rosters for 1 league.

It may be the "off season" but there is no reason why there should be about 40 TWJD/TWDD games played per day and <5 TWBD games played per day (usually between the same 2/3 squads).

Like I said before, there is sometimes over 600 people on TrenchWars on a good night. Is it not absurd that there is usually not a SINGLE squad online with 8 people (or even 7) willing to play a TWBD game during this time? Not even 1.3% of the people online are willing to play a TWBD game?

On your rant vs. Spastic: First of all we are obviously trying to get into TWLJ this year, and second of all, sure we have a big roster, but like most squads, we have a ton of people that rarely play TWBD with us at all, and if we "axed" them they would have a hard time getting a starting spot on any other squad anyway.

the 24/7 ?go base thingy didn't work at all. I don't think stabs suggestion would either.

The way I see it, basing requires a team. In javs or warbirds you can just say "fuck it" and go on a one-man quest to revenge on mankind, but in basing you need a team. It's enough that one of the players suck, and the fun for all the rest is ruined.

in basing, you just stray spider bullets across the flagroom and get tons of kills. most of the time, at worst, you'll end up 1:1.

wbs, yes they have the most strays but if you arent good at it, you'll have a hard time even getting like 10 kills consistantly.

getting a 1:1 doesn't make your team win. So ok neither does getting a kill in warbirds, but every kill is 1/50 of the win. In basing kills don't mean shit (flagtime is where its' at nowdays) so drawing a parallell between kills and a good player is not quite logical.

If you think my idea sucks then you are free to come up with something yourself. The fact remains that basing is the least played league in the game, and it's getting worse.
