Full Greens in TWDD

They should keep the greens.

Rushers usually eat the shot aimed prefectly at them while they boost towards you. (The players with high accuracy are able to shoot rushers on thier boosting period) and the shot is usually eaten.

Keeping greens is a way for the victim to redeem, for the rushers lack of skill in rushing and taking a shot in the face without dieing. <-- (Edit)

Exactly why we should keep the damn greens.

Everyone who has played against laggy newbie rushers know of this effect.

The moment you shoot a perfect shot at a guy that thrusts, and if it hits the moment he stops, the bullet gets eaten.

Thats a good idea. Greens only when someone is dead, instead of being randomly placed. It would make a good reward system.

You killed someone? good. Oh look he laid a green, let's go get it.

Is it a full charge? if so, great! theres your reward.
If not? Who cares, it's a green like any other.

This way "hackers" can't say a green just happened to spawn on them while running.

There would need to be a kill in order for the green to show up.

The main problem is what I've said.

In a TWDD match, if you lose, you lose points, it's nothing serious, therefore people rush more, rather go for a risky and fast one instead of a safe one. They play reckless cause theres nothing to lose. And FC are there to even out the rushing.

In a fucking TWL match, no one is stupid enough to rush reckless like in DDs, since you lose a lot more if you lose there. That's why FC got removed from there. Since no one rushes reckless there.

Thats it, theres nothing more to discuss.

Unfortunately RATTY you are completely incorrect.

1) Teams generally don't rush in TWL-D because rushing is actually a bad strategy unless you're very good at it. Even if you are very good at it, teams that play defensively which are made of skilled players, will usually win regardless. Teams rush in TWDD because they are newbies and they don't know better. It is pretty easy to beat a team that rushes by just playing consistant and defensive. If you don't beat them, that's your fault, it's no fault of full greens.

2) It's true that laggers eat shots. Having full greens doesn't let people lag less. In fact it creates bigger problems. Sure, there's a chance that you may somehow hit a lagger, have them eat the shot, and then pick up a green right away, but there's an even BIGGER chance that you will hit them, and they will turn and kill you instantly before you can get to a green. There's also a bigger chance that because they lag, they will see greens on their screen that no one else sees and will get full charges from out of nowhere to kill you. There's also about the same amount of chance that they will run into a full charge green (that you can see) and kill you, as with you getting one yourself, thereby cancelling out the effect completely.


Full charge greens aren't skill because it's luck as to whether you get one or not. They aren't skill because of lag and the fact that sometimes different players will see greens in different areas resulting in invisible greens giving full charges that kill you. If it isn't skill, what use does it have in a game of skill? None.


Actually I don't even see why this should be up for a vote. Full charge greens have no place in TWDD, and they should be taken out vote or no vote.
