    I gotta agree with Paulo on this one, one thing I've noticed from playing other zones is that they have many many more loopholes but they don't fix them, because they don't have to.

    a points race should hopefully stop all this tactical 'running' or atleast, make it less of a deciding factor than it currently is; we'd possibly see the flag holder taking a more offensive stand and getting his team to push out and go for more kills; himself included. It's the simplest solution to the problems in SD and much easier to do than change the map etc.

    Points race could work quiet well. TWSD is going to be worked on again finishing touches and bug fixes like these. Will more then likely be the next thing to put TW Risk on the shelf again but oh well.

    I agree with this. I mean didn't some base games back in the day go for point races, or something along those lines. Would make it alot easier then having to get as much points as possible in a little time limit.

    But less than 100 points doesn't hurt that much. Game can easily be like 150-530 and speccing at that point would still in the game in this case.

    -100 is alot, but as long as we count it the same way we do in like twdd/twjd as in intentionally lagging out or being completely oblivious to your lag before a match and deciding to get played anyways is the only way you will get a +1 90% of the time. So basically if you lagout through a lag you can see in ?lag or by literally speccing you lose 100, but if its something you can't see such as weapons s2c then you just get specced. I think this would probably be best.

    The problem is that if 3 players lagout with loss of -150 pts total. It's still easy to spec and win. But if it comes to more than 100 pts per speccing, unintented lagouts would be crucial.

    -100 pts could be the best..

    No, because sometimes you might actually just lagout before the end of the game and it would be gay for another reason. Just stick with the -X points per lagout, in base there is a time you have to wait till you can return, in twdd/twjd there is a +1 death for lagout, -50-100 points for a lagout in TWSD is fair.

    How about having the bot add up ingame stats instead of players that are out of game.

    IE: Once you lagout the bot removes your points from the board. And when you rejoin the game your points are added back. Kinda like TWDD/JD does with the deaths. This will screw people over who lagout at the end of the game, which is the problem I see.

    Loopholes in TWD

    We found a loophole in my favourite league (or ignite did): TWSD

    As we all know TWSD requires the most tactics in all divisions but there is one tactic that can be compared to... CHEATING AND LAMING!

    This is how it goes: You shoot few spiders and make the point lead. Then you spec (whole freq) and let the time run out. It has been used few times near the end to make sure the speccing team wins if its a close game.

    I say it needs to be fixed! Any ideas? 50 points per lagout enough? What about unintented lagouts?

    I hope we will play TWSL next season!

    I like the idea of removing the timer, and having a points race only. I feel to pressured with a time limit.

    The brick timer is fine. Shortening it will just make it super pointless.

    Awesome game though. My new favorite.

    Yes, i noticed once pounded got a lead on us in round 3, they specd 1 person which made it almost impossible for us to catch up.

    How about 50-100 point penalties for every 30 seconds your team doesnt have 3-5 people in it (depending if its 3v3 4v4 5v5) or some kind of penalty for speccing.

    How long is the respawn for the flag?
