    I played this for the first time a week or so ago and i had fun

    i was much impressed with the improvements over the old SD.

    however when i played we had stronger spiders in and there wasn't a load of running, i could see that being a pain.

    I also don't have a handy brick key as i've rejigged all my controls over the years and brick got shunted to the useless section as the only time's i ever need them is in tanks and glider and even then i can cope ok without them. I could of course make it a more accessible key but i probably won't be playing sd that much.

    cuase of that i'd drop the brick and add a bit more tiles to the map instead - but thats only my lazy arse opinion as the bricks can lead to more tactical options if also campyness :P

    i'm not sure SD has enough interest to make it as a league but thats why i welcome the novel approach and flagging of the game that makes it unique and enjoyable game.

    Thanks for the feedback Bram, why not offer up ideas on how to improve it?
    And don't just say make it the old TWSD...

    I'll look into it Reav, question is can the bot handle 2 flags?

    Somehow I knew what you were going to say and the tone with which you would say it before I read anything Bram. I was just curious if it was possible to have two flags Rii, and have it so that they spawn practically right in front of each team's safe, so that both teams have a fair start from the beginning and it's not just a luck of the spawn kind of thing. Provided your team is good enough to hold onto their flag there shouldn't really be much chasing unless you want to. If it's not possible then the flag carrier should take a bigger penalty on their speed and maybe increase the radius of the antiwarp? If none of this is possible then I would suggest having the bot prize everyone negative energy for the first 5 seconds so that teams can move toward the flag but not warp and get lucky. Just some ideas I'm throwing out there to help remedy the problem instead of just calling it stupid and giving up.

    i just played this, and the verdict is: it's borderline retarded. i wonder, how can this be a league? even as an event it would just be too shitty to stay around very long.

    It's basically like this: the best hider/runner wins! And to make hiding even more fun, you get BRICKS, the goal basically becomes: attach, press f4 (unless you're an hardcore TWSD'er than you probably make another key your brick key), bullet a bit and die quickly enough to get another brick! This basically goes on untill someone gets lucky and spawns right infront of your guy who holds the flag (with the spawnzone being EVERYWHERE this is well possible) and kills him!
    Also note how it's of no use for the 'chasing' team to have bricks as the other team should always just keep running away, once you stop moving u basically give the other team a chance to win. Sigh it's really so fucking boring. It's like playing vs Nemo. in elim except this time he is the winner if he can outrun you for a couple of minutes. While in the past he'd get specced for such louzy behaviour, now this 'sport' has become a league of it's own. just.. wow.

    Unfortunately more than one flag makes the current bot screw up...
    So i don't think this will be an ez option to implement.

    Confirmed from dads, the whole team gets a small bonus from flag every so often...

    Anti-warp has a bigger radius!

    Flag points are more evened out, you need to kill alot more rather
    than relying on just getting points from holding flag.

    Oh and round times are now 8min.

    From the games i've seen played after i did this they were a lot closer points wise and there was opportunity to come back from being down in points...

    tws is so much fun, makes dds boring anymore

    5 minutes seems short but i think anything longer would be too long..so hard to say anything about that...other than its awesome and antiwarp does work its short range, it doesnt cover ur entire radar like u think..
