    i like that idea, flag shud appear in the middle and it would be more fun in your map if you had to take your flag to the other teams side, and yea increase the height

    I disagree. I have 50 ms average, never spike .0 .0 almost every day, and every single day I play a game or two and I get +1 lagout for no reason

    I think bots have to be programmed wrong in terms of lag limits, because I see players like brokenfist play with 400 ms and eat everything, and players like mongol intentionally spike when they get cornered, and they don't lagout, yet my 50 ms .0 .0 gives me +1

    Map updated.

    You'll notice the top-right and bottom-left "forts" have been opened up.
    More room to fight in and less to hide in...

    1st game on new map i just watched seemed much better with this change!
    Cheers to squads PaxIn and Respect for the help being the 1st testers on the new map.

    and yea add something to the bot like the dd's where i u press esc s or f11 ur taken out of the game completely or maybe take some points and if its an actual lagout u will be allowed to !lagout

    Spawns are done in a circle's raduis...
    Which makes square maps have a big dissadvantage unless that spawn can be contained inside the square.

    So unfortunatly with that map if one team dominates they can spawn the crap out of the other team if they hang out in the spawn...

    The idea doesn't look that bad tho...

    Well I would think it should be changed to point race, even if some don't like it. I mean point races would increase people to fight more, instead of having the whole team run away when they get the flag(even though there will probably still be people who do this.) Maybe changing it will get more player interested, and hopefully give more competition to those dominating squads. Even possibly make people like ship 3 instead of hating it like I used to.

    But that is just my opinion, just thought I would state my 2 cents.

    Yes that is correct, it was the orginal idea of the whole thing.

    Basically because we tried to make it half dueling and half basing...
    So from basing we took the time race incorporating a flag while points and bonuses came from fighting.

    The way we're going it's heading back towards being solely dueling...
    Which can either be a bad thing or a good thing.

    Since we got it into TWD for "Public Testing" I've been busy with TWL and we've had most of our bot coders inundated with work,
    so i need to find someone willing to change the bot again before bot changes can be made.

    The 2 "closed corners" were like mini-bases with the idea
    that you'd use basing tactics to defend and attack these areas with tools and skills on hand...

    Im open to map changes and ideas, so download DCME and mod the map and
    send it to maps@twdev.org for me to look at, or mock it up in paint.
    Im fresh out of ideas and changes currently.

    As i get more time and juggle RL work we'll take this feedback
    and add some changes to SD. Have a little paitence and faith.

    I haven't played it in months but wasn't it supposed to be like a duel/basing hybrid? I mean that's why there's flag points and bricks i thought. Maybe that wasn't the best idea afterall? I think camping isn't nearly a big a problem as just running away from what I've read.

    Maybe do something where if more than one member of the team is in spec/lags out for say 30 sec, then they forfeit the game? The other solutions seem pretty doable too.
