Quite a few wb and jav TW league guys play in aml/iml/pro. I know some TWL basers play DSB. And I believe a few other TWL ppl play HZ.

Point is, squads can schedule games when its best for them in TWL, Im sure ELusive scheduled around there other leagues last season, just like alot of squads will this season. If i got a DSB league @ 3 PM, and they schedule bd for 2, with delays and then having a 45 minute game it could last longer then an hr, and there is delays almost EVERY week.

Dude, if you can be there and fit a TWL into your busy Sunday schedule, then I'm sure you can stay a few minutes longer if your game is close. Assume it will take the maximum time (maybe 45 minutes) and plan your schedule that way. If you're done early, find something else to do.. like play SS the same way you do the other 167 hours of the week.

Adeon, TWD is any time any place, if im online during the week for a few hrs, sure i'll play a TWD. All other zones have there leagues on the weekend just like TWL is. TWL is scheduled and has set times to start/end. I dont want to be guesing about these types of things, especialy when i got two other zones to play.

Ok I don't understand what the fuss is all about.

I personally think that point race is a better modification. Now, instead of telling me "it is exciting" but I don't want to change the old bs. Can you give me reasons why the old timed games were better than point race because I can give you the other way around.

I just want to see what people think are the problems with point race? Dont give me reasons like. Its been there for a lonnnnng time thing. Because leagues haven't started and this is the time to be testing stuff out. Give me valid reasons so they can be address as objective as possible.

U still have insentive to fight bz bc tie for playoff seeding is done by +/- in point differencial, so u will automaticaly want to regain flag and kill what u can even if its just for 4 minutes.

The main thing that's better about the race is that you're never out of the game.. as it is now, if you're down 50k and there's 4 minutes left, even if you're in the base, there's basically no chance that you can win. Making it a race changes that.. if you can hold the base, you can win, no matter how far down you are.

Also, people who bitch about hiding really seem like pussies to me, but that doesn't change the fact that people bitch about it, so if the new system eliminted that too, that's a bonus.

bc ur replacing the league with a differnt format, ur limiting ship #'s, ur changing the method of which it is played. It should have a whole new name instead of "TWLB" It will be very different. Even if u keep the current squad winners on the map no one cares really, but yes u'd havta ermove all the individual records.

i'm not a fan of this point-race system, however, if you really are going to use it, then i suggest 150k to be target point.

150k target would mean that games could potentially take 45-50 minutes to finish; that is way too long. I agree with Malladrin; 125k is a nice even number, and would only make the game at the most 5-10 minutes longer in the rarest cases.

What records are you talking about? The TWBD records? Why would you erase the TWLB winners from the map? The game is still fundamentally the same. Maybe take off the shit like "most shark kills" or "terr kills", but there is no reason to take the winners off of the map...
