Yeah, 100ms is silly. No one outside of N. America would be able to play, regardless of what connection they have. Even some broadband users in the US could have problems. 200 - 300ms would suffice.I don't know that sharks should be included in stricter lag limits, either. It's really not a great advantage.Jacklyn> i'm not here right now, leave ur phone number address and directions to your house, where you keep your money and what time youre not home and i will get Right back to you

Im not saying make them real strict, or even for shark. but i do think that atleast jav/wb should have stricter limits bc they are game breaking ships, especialy a rocketing jav. I also think Terr should hyave a little more strict so u dont have ppl like 2d spiking all over and nnot dying.
It is an advantage, but there are also significant, and arguably greater disadvantages to a laggy shark, and that's already been discussed earlier in this thread.
Rocketing javs are by far the worst and most annoying laggots in any basing match. If anything should be limited to 100ms, it's them. :PJacklyn> i'm not here right now, leave ur phone number address and directions to your house, where you keep your money and what time youre not home and i will get Right back to you

I havent read anything except Kim's post, but its all just very simple isnt it ? If you play matches or elim/baseelim a lot of people are lagging like shit, take hits etc or do other funny stuff. As long as thats already the case as it is now, we should they make the lag limit less strict ? That means more lagging! No thanks.Winner of TWDL Scrotals

Just make a 'visual lag' rule, similar to what other zones use. There are a handful of people that have incredible lag that everyone can see, and maybe we could trust the refs to make the call on whether or not they should be specced. I know a few people that definately shouldn't be allowed to play in TWL, unless they fix or change their connections.sdg

That is definately true, though. People who you can actually see jumping everywhere several times simply shouldn't be allowed to play at all.Jacklyn> i'm not here right now, leave ur phone number address and directions to your house, where you keep your money and what time youre not home and i will get Right back to you

Stab, i think there use to be a rule like that i imagine someone spec'd someone who wasnt laggin that bad but caused there squad the match or something. In TWD prolly. As for TWL, can u really trust the ref? We got lag limits for a reason, if they arent OVER the limit where they lagout, then they should be able to play.
I jsut think IF possible in the bots, having a base jav's lag limits more strict would be helpful. Thats the kind of ship that needs it, its annoying to get them guys who already jump rocketing then get reped. its almost impossable. Same for wb. Make squads play there laggy ppl in Spider if they want, and increase the sitout time so it hurts the team by risking to play them._o_2NASRALLAH
