We should feel free to do whatever we want in a game, it might be bored to watch, but if a team doesn't have a good jav/wb or just doesn't like it, it's their choice.
Personnaly, i like 5 spids cause i suck in jav :P

I like a few things on both sides. I do like the veriety of ships that u get in each game. I also think the compatition is alot better bc some squads are forced toplay a ship they arent strong in. Playing vs either a jav/wb. This is coming when i spider/shark. When im terring then i hate the idea. I'd much rather play a 5 spider lineup then a rocketing/laggy jav or a pesky wb bothing me all game. I also agree with whoever said it, 1 more spider dont make the cram "that" much more stronger. Its the teamwork of the sharks that make it so strong. A team like spastic last season probably could of played a jav/wb and still got hte same performance htey had w/ the 5 spider cram simply bc of there sharks.

I voted no, bc i think only squadcaptains/asscaps no what is best lineup for there squad. I think that if someoen dont have a jav or wb online they shouldnt be forced to play them. I also think that squads should have the freedom to do what they want, limitations are always bad. Especialy when it comes to the main basing ship.

Every contending base squad has someone that can do decently in a jav or spider. It makes the games more fun. Unforunately I voted 'no' because when I first looked at this post, it was like 18-3 in favour of the spid limit.

Rofl! and well ur rite to an extent. Every basing squad probably does have someoen who can wb/jav decently enuff to get the job done, but if the squads best chances to win are with 5 spider, or the squads best chance to beat a certain squad is with 5 spiders, i think they should have the freedom to do so. I also think u have to remember, not all squads in TWLB will be pure basing squads. U will have squads like Grapevine, -f- for example, im sure they'l lbe more who arent pure basing and there best chances to win are 5 spiders. ANd they mite not have a valid base jav or wb bc htey dont practice it all the time.

It's impossible to skip the reset because you have to hold qualifications. There are something like 5 or 6 open spots in TWLB and TWD will be the proving grounds for them on the next reset.

Agreed somewhat, I'm not sure what you meant by being conducted like the all-star voting, bc as I remember, only TWL ppl could vote on that. Considering that there quite a lot of open spaces in TWLB and a lot of newer-seminewer basing ppl/squads, they would be left out if the voting was restricted to only TWL ppl, which doesn't even make sense when squads like Elu, Ramp, Light are no longer here, but the members are part of other squads. Having the voting on the TWL website may encourage only the ppl more serious into basing to vote, but I guess what's done is done and the voting is already in the forums.

My question now is, is 51% - 49% in favor good enough? I mean you have to consider ppl who don't even check this forum who DO base. There is def some deviation considering this is 1) open to everyone, basers and nonbasers alike 2) maybe ppl have multiple accounts and are voting twice.

So to me, I would be a lot more secure knowing the vote was AT LEAST greater than 55% or 60% to sorta be valid. And I dunno if it would be fair, but even if a rule is voted 54% to 46% ... I dunno if it really should be accepted as something of the general consensus.

I didnt mean u guys didnt have a valid base bird, as we all know ur a great base bird, but ur 1 of the squads who arent pure basing who will probably make TWL. U also have to remember besides u, im not sure if i could think of someone who is a "good" basebird or base jav on grapevine. I could be very very wrong i didnt think hard about ur roster. Like if u didnt show up, or u had to terr, then ur best lineup would probably be to have a 5 spider lineup. U mite think that im totaly wrong, but i think ur the only one who konws that, i also think that ur the one who should be able to decide that. Just like if i was a captain and i thought 5 spiders was my best lineup i should be able to play that.
