But its to the same amount of points? So what if its different times. You can't get much more than 120k points if thats the limit and that is the constant to compare games.

You can compare the #of kills for the 120k points your team gets. The above argument that time isn't constant so you can't compare is total bs. All you need is something to be constant.

1.) Pure luck has already said 70k WILL NOT be the limit in TWLB. A more reasonable estimate would probably be 120k (the approximate average for non-forfeit wins last season).
2. So you can't compare old stats with new. Big deal. There will still be awesome recs to see, they'll just be different. You guys are making it sound like there won't be anymore stats, or because the stats are different they won't be as impressive. That's bull shit. Someone scoring 10 points in a soccer game is at least as impressive as someone scoring 30 in a basketball game. Sure there'll be a period of uncomfortability, but there will STILL be stats, they aren't going to explode in flames or anything.

I konw that it wont be 70k, i was using it as an example of how low the kills will be. Even if we go to 120k the average person gets 60ish kills in the 70k game. U wont get many kills. I just like the old stats i guess its just me. Others mite not, but looking @ the vote tally it doesnt look like many others feel different.

I don't like the pointrace.. I prefer the goold old fashion regular time based matches. Way more fun than pointraces...

Point race is more fun.

But the goal should be set higher than 70k. SOmething like 85k would be better.

One team could own the other for like almost 15 mins and get up to 75k and then looz FR and then the other could hold FR for the rest of the time and win 85 to 83k.

It's cool b/c you can't build up a big lead and then coast...there's always the possibility to loose the match if you can't retake FR.

Fully expecting to flammed by someone calling me a moron b/c it must have been brought up and discussed previously. About a Time race; it sounds good at first, but then think about how it would make records/kills/points all meaningless. Part of the reason people don't like point race is because it's hard to compare records, etc. With a time race game, records wouldn't matter at all.

Exactly. And that's cool, b/c people will focus less on records. I'm tired of nooblets in basing always trying for the best record. This shifts focus to the team effort = good. IMHO.

Thats bs, in a game wich goes 107k vs 120k, will be alot more kills then 120k-20k. The time does matter, the more time the more kills. But what you are saying is that in a .?go base game with a score of 70k-10k and one of the spiders got 110 points, he did alot worse then in a twbd game with a 70k-65k (just giving some random numbers) score and a spider with 156 kills? No, the second spider had 10 more minutes to kill people. Still both teams got 70k,
