Best wb in go base? + Fullcharge problem

how does lag help you to get through cram? what kind of question is that? you eat the bullets and just go and you do lag :P

i usually kill cram from mid...not by going through entrance
my normal ping is 120ms and that`s almost best you can get from Finland.

Fire isn't too good in killing, but IMO he is the best decoy wb in ?go base and he doesn't hide. Thinks he has the best ability of closing in then turning tail in order to get 3 or so spiders to follow.

That's no credit to him, that's the inherent disorganization of go base in action.

I dont know all that much about basing. But the best individual performance ive seen as base-wb is domi. he got like 12+ td's against a decent terr just a little while ago.

Divine Rides is the pioneer of basebirding as far as I'm concerned. He set the standard, and he's yet to be outshined.

Randedl is to the basebird as Stabwound is to the shark, a one-ship pony. (Yeah, I stole the one-ship pony line from you, Mattey. Sorry dude, I couldn't think of a better way to get my point across.) I can't say he's not good, but I can't say he's great. He's... I can't think of what the fuck he is so I'll just say he's consistent. (Side note to Rand: Please, don't be offended. You're a solid bird, and this is just my opinion.)

Fire Phoenix is trying. He's very new to the basebird scene, but he's trying. I can't knock him for that. I can knock him for having a big head though. FP, you've got a long way to go kid. Keep at it, and try to be a little bit more humble.

Aside from those three, I don't see many guys consistently in a bird so I'm done commenting on the subject. If anyone feels the need to come at me with some sort of "You think you know it all." bullshit, save it. I've posted my personal opinions. Take 'em or leave 'em, but don't bitch about 'em.

honestly, i haven't seen div play base bird. i respect that he has everybody else's respect, but last twlb was my first, and i don't think he was that active.

i still think foxy was a kickass bird, he's the one that got me into it, i learned my basics from hosting a twlb and watching him play.

aside from that, i think a good spider is better than a decent warbird. it's not hard to be a decent wb, but the only people that should be playing base bird are the ones who can actually make a difference in the game. ie, i'm getting really good at some cram breaking shots. any warbird will get a couple terr kills when their team is defending base, but it's the ones that can actually alter the path of the game that deserve the credit.

side note: poid and bloodzombie are the best guys i've ever played a 2 warbird game with. somehow there is a chemistry that we both understand what the other is doing and where we should be. kudos to you guys, i would play a 2 wb game in twlb with either of you on my squad any day.

When i've capped in go base, stabwound is the only one who is able to fill in for someone (terrier/spider/jav/shark) and do as good as, or maybe even better, than the person who was subbed/had to go/left in a fit of 'weregonnalose'-itis.

I havent tried him in a wb, but just because i havent seen him doesnt mean he knows what hes talking about.

edit: and Randedl, i agree, from a different PoV - I cap alot in go base (im too shitty to play), and I find that having 3 [above average] spiders and then a jav-bird team, or jav-jav or bird-bird usually works.

But thats what I do as a base cap, i expiriment lineups for TWL.

There's an underlying theme running through this threat that I want to address - RATIO MEANS DICK ALL; NO, REALLY. I don't want a team of nancy boy prima donnas farting about outside the flagroom trying to break a cram when all you have to do to break a cram is get in there with the ships and once they die they won't be able to get in the fr entrance as you're already there. Plus I've you've got any savvy you'd of got the hell out of there and into the flagroom, shitting your pants as no one else followed you
