Shriek and New Squad Invites

For any confusion, once again, I'm Escales Dante.

I just woke up, at roughy 4 pm in the afternoon. I find about 13 messages in the box thingy, and over a dozen squaddies online? Well my first thoughts were, this is going to be a great day for BDs.

TWL-B eh? Sweet fucking deal. Sorry to hear you lost the spot Shriek, you guys were doing damn well. As for us, I only have a few things to say.

To Asevoimat -

It's great that your roster has magically reappeared now that your in TWL-D, although the rules for TWL have been recopy/pasted about 3 times now because Ivan can't get through that thick skull of his/hers that Asevoimat was to inactive in TWL-B at the time to recieve and invite. Therefore we got it.

Avalonian/Tanked -

I rarely see either of you BD. As d3d posted, Avalonian hasn't beaten us, let alone gotten even 10 minutes of flag time. We haven't had a match with Tanked yet, due to inactivity I suppose? Well either way, I'm sorry neither of you had the points or activity to recieve an invite.

Everyone -

Alright, Shriek could of most likely owned the shit outta us. They had leadership problems and fucked up their chances. Once again, sad to see, sorry about that. We won't be recruiting half there players, in fact I'm pretty sure our captains have decided to close Defiancys recruiting.

We have worked very hard, played whenever we could. I've personally gained a shitload of basing skill since joining this squad and so have many others. I won't recruit a bunch of players from an Ex-TWL-B squad even if we are allowed to. We worked to get where we are as a team, and we will face it as a team. Whether we loose them all or win all 4, I don't give a shit.

We will be there, we will play, and we will either win or put up a damn good fight. This I promise everyone.

Let's say Divine Rides was banned from trenchwars, but played in our twlj as his super secret alias Jav Lawman without us knowing. And then he told me. And I reported it to staff. Would we get kicked out of leagues?

Century, where the fuck do you get off bitching at staff? Honestly, you've got a lot of nerve. It is in no way WHATSOEVER staff's responsiblity to babysit squads. As Nick said, staff enforces rules. If there's a problem, we step in, take a look at the situation and take the appropriate action. And furthermore, if you and your fellow squaddies were suspicious enough to ask for an IP check, and yet still allowed untap to START FOR YOU IN YOUR TWL MATCHES, you deserve what you got. That's just fucking moronic on your part.

And here's the sucker punch to finish it off. Everyone knows damn well Shriek has ALWAYS played dirty. Whether it be double squadding, lagcheating, or just plain acting like shitheads and pushing the envelope, trying to break every rule you can think of... You guys fucked with the karma horse and it bucked your sorry asses off and sent you flying into the shit pile. Good fucking game.

Just ignore century, nobody is buying his shit/whining. That kid is a total faggot. I'm buds with Amorphus, and even he said that eventually he knew it was merce, but he couldn't do nothing about it, because if merce wanted to play, merce was going to play. Period

The rule was set in place before the beginning of the season. There was ample time to discuss its jurisprudence then. Since no such objections from you were entertained at the time, there was no choice but to assume that you, and all the others who raised no objection to the rule, thought it "fair." Arguing about the "fairness" of the rule now is silly. From what I know, you're in the minority in terms of not knowing about Untap being Merce.

But I do think the Shriek players are getting a tough break. Just repercussions? More or less. Tough break? Hella.

On a side note, I agree 350% with Escalate's suggestion. If you allow the results of Shriek's previous games to stand, you're decimating the integrity of the league. Considering how much +/- factors in playoff seedings, you give a ridiculously large advantage to those squads who have yet to face Shriek. You might say a win is a win and a loss is a loss, but not in this case. There are stats behind those wins and losses that are a part of the picture.
