am comink at u unlimitid because i never kicked you, i told you well in advance of twl starting that you aren't goink 2 make the twl roster but could stay and twd if you wanted. you chose 2 leaf. you were fortunate 2 b on the team in the first place and were inactif/vsd 0 contribution. you then use a post where efery1 is vsink marksmin to pile on/promote yoursilf. What happened to you and TJ isnt remotely close. I remoofed her from the roster right b4 the hard lock, where as i informed you well in advance of twl starting you won't make the roster. FK URSILF!!!

If you think TJ is bettir than her its not by much (TJ has played 36 bds for marksmin and averages by far the wirst record on the squad K wise, and is 3-33 W/L).

It sucks this happened right b4 the deadline but we haf 7 spiders who are better/haf more upside. Ovirill i dont rly care how actif she is. You are inactif cripple, if TJ was on your squidrin should she start over u because shis more actif?

If I am going to be inactive I would not even sign up or join a squad and have them have expectations. Ask anyone who has capped me. For example in TWDT, I tell all my captains my show rate when I am chosen. If they want to play someone else over me I do not have an issue with it.

I can name three players off the bat looking at your roster I would pick TJ over for basing....without hesitation.

TJ pushes at the right times, shoots sharks at the right times, he is a key player. Just because he does not throw these ridiculous numbers up does not mean he is a bad baser.

i love you viop, but I think this is a decision you should have made with your basing lineup.

Joe is the best shark on your squad and look at the volumes he is speaking about TJ. That should say something.

as sum1 who has been a ciptin of many squidrins you should understand you don't know everything about sum1 elses squad and u are being ignorant assuming u know everything. Joe and TJ vs discord together every day, ofc shes going to be upset her friend was remooft over some ppl who are more focused on dueling/less active. not that i haf 2 explain anything to u because u are ignorint about the situation and know nothing about mirksmin, but we have bitsaver mean gene ragerituil poseidon public assassin singer and steep to spider. you can possibly make an arguement hiziki is possibly bettir than 1-3 of them if u want, but if she is its not by much and i can make the argument tj is 3-33 in bd with us (not her fault we lose most games), and also has by far the worst k/d on the squidrin and gets the worst recs in games with all those above mentioned spiders playing in the same game as her.

I never said I knew anything about what is going on with Marksmin.

ans as much as I respect you being the captain of many basing squads. Still does not mean you have a strong opinion towards basing lines. Again. I would?ve talked it with some of your basers before making this decision

but I have based for over 14 years and I have played hundreds upon hundreds of basing games. I have played hundreds of playoff games. And I have played dozens of finals and I have won LB plenty of times for me to have an opinion towards this decision. Especially knowing the play style of TJ and every other baser that is on your squad.

i have played with or against nearly every single baser that has played this game. And I have played with or against every baser that is on your basing line.

so for me to make an opinion on your basing line with the history I have towards basing, I think it is pretty credible.

i also believe and I am sure plenty of people on this game and on your squad will take MY basing opinion over yours.

as this thread continues, and as you can see, myself of Joe are NOT the only ones who do not agree with this decision.

again. Just because TJ is 3-33 on your squad does not mean he is at fault for losing those games.

i drop 150+ kills in basing games and I still lose. Basing is a TEAM effort, not a one person effort.

i have lost games 15-0 and my records have been 65-50. Does that mean I am the one to blame?

TJ is a knowledgeable spider and knows how to push and properly play and position himself.

i am not ignorant about the situation. I am posting based off hard opinions from what I have endured and experienced playing with or against the players on your squad

I am also looking for a squad. Like Tj, marksmin kicked me to make room for another player and they did so like a couple days before the first deadline making it difficult to join another squad.

I'm gonna say my opinion here just as a general response to what unlimited wrote, don't all get upset because i'm not in league... but respectfully i can perform as well as any spider on marksmin too, but squads for base aren't exactly out recruiting and looking for new talent and i'm not about to ask to play... since TWL as i've honestly said before is not the most exciting league to ever be in subspace. That being said i'd love to help out if a squad really needs players or make a squad sometime and field some players if I can make it happen, but the reality is squads don't need people that badly, and plenty have been left out.

with that said here is my opinion on this problem... (keep in mind i didn't read all the league rules and don't know how league works fully).

i think league could benefit from being slightly more dynamic in nature, so having and allowing trades of players if both captains agree (especially with a 13 squad cap) and not having a waiting time to play after a trade. now... i don't know if this would change the nature of TWL entirely and people will hate this suggestion, but take it with a grain of salt, if it's a bad idea no offense intended, just trying to think of solutions... personally i wouldn't mind it, but i'd rather go with what the majority wants of course.

of course this means captains wouldn't be in a rush to add players and kick others as much before a lock deadline, and it means players without squads wouldn't have a deadline to find squads, they could convince captains to let them in at basically anytime in the league except during play offs etc. either way it seems there's a lack of squads... somehow i feel even if i made a basing squad unlimited/rab and others would not join, so people helping out with squads doesn't really solve this issue, unless it's a top player making a squad i guess?

it also seems like you basically find out which players wont make a team when it's too late... which means if i could make a basing squad now, this second, then i could probably field all those players who didn't make it (plus some HZ/DSBers), but it's way too late to be adding squads.. so it's a problem of finding out news when it's too late to do anything about it too. Seems like a big timing mess in that sense... i dunno.

im a bleeding heart, so it's sad that some players can't play a league they enjoy... and in this case it's not noobs, but decently experienced players.

Alright, not that I think anyone is fortunate to be on Marksmin seeing as you need basers from strong base squads to carry you to TWBD wins... But that's a separate comment for a separate argument. If you want to sit here and act like you'd give your spot for TJ, why didn't you?

Steep has nothing to apologize for and shouldn't pull himself from the squad or TWL as this wasn't his decision or fault at all, and I mean honestly it isn't really Viop's fault entirely, either. Steep ought not be defending himself over this thread. The guy did nothing. And Viop had to choose what he thought was best for Marksmin or what the other captains thought.. The ability to dump people off your TWL roster weeks into TWL is kind of bullshit and wrong IMO, but yo don't act like you would've given up your spot for someone that you didn't give it up for.

But perhaps this could be the start of a change for the next TWL season with how rosters work? Choose your rosters for the season and let that be it. It's kind of shitty to have someone there for 2-3 weeks then be like lol nah, you're out, and them not even have a shot at a medal just because someone decided to remove them a couple weeks deep into the season. But rly Viop, don't say you'd give up your spot if you're not going to. Undercut -- where you at on the TWL roster change rules? Wow completely surprised by the support in this thread, nor did I expect Joe to start a thread about it. Thanks all, but I've got to say I am not bitter about the decision, just kinda disappointed that I wasted my time on this squad when I could've joined another squad in the beginning of the season but I decided i wanted to join with my bros and play/win with them but incompetence leadership got in the way of everything.

Good luck to the remaining of the squad during the season, but I cant wait to play yall and beat them and prove them wrong. I've been a proven/consistent spider for years. I've won 4 twdt-b titles for reason. I've practicality lead a squad (LEGO) to semis in lb one year under my leadership. Has my play been a bit lackluster? Sure, but you shouldn't blame it on all one guy. They made the wrong decision, imo.

Another thing, don't know why y'all picked up another spider (when thats not the problem of the squad) for TWL, when we cant even get a consistent shark pairing every week. Or know that our best pairing is right infront them but cant see it because of squad's own dilemma. Again, good luck, yall gonna need it.
