As well i'm able to recognize that more input is better than just "my" input... getting opinions on a map i make helps in the long run to develop a more refined and better looking map than if i went at it alone. And no, that's not because I'm not an "expert" map maker. Any zone that had staff which said "it's my way or the highway" quickly died after that. EG abused settings and graphic/map changes until nobody played there anymore and they lost their core players. Ironically, the most deved zone in the game died the same time the least deved zone DSB did.
You can't make everyone happy, but you can get damn close, and can work toward some sort of compromises too.. so even the 40% who are not happy with changes end up being not happy on a scale... where 1 is ambivalent feelings about the changes, 5 is unhappy, and 10 is quitting the game.
