the league is so bad that King Baba will be seasonal MVP with 9 games under his belt and a nice 100-21 kills to death ratio!

The game doesn't change, people change. In three months when it's a cram to get into TWL people will show up or fuck off, personally I couldn't care either way. But if a whole league is put on hold for a certain number of players then I'd be pretty pissed off, and that's comming from a guy who currently still can't play this upcoming TWL season.

what i dont get is why the talent isn't more spread out.

if you're not going to start on a squad in TWL, why bother?

come TWL you really only need 7 or 8 good active players per league, and alot of players play across leagues.

just a random thought, but does it sound like it might be a good idea to limit rosters by league for TWL?

10 for DD
10 for JD
16 for BD

Then if you're across leagues, -5 for every league. So Grapevine plays in all three leagues, 10+10+16-5-5= 26 rostered max.

If a player plays across leagues, -1 on the roster. So GV has 10 dders, 6 of them jav and/or base. 10 jders, 4 of them wb and/or base, and have 5 pure basers. That's 25 players, but since some of them are across leagues:

26 - 6 - 4 = 16 players max.

You keep a core of 16, and cut 9 players. That's 9 talented players shifted into the player pool of free agents.

A squad like Dragonguard would have 10 wb's, Spastic would have 16 players (if they only played TWLB), etc...

If you did that to TWL 7, you would have probably come out to almost the same players in every game anyways, except you're moving unused talent into other teams, raising the level of competition.

The obvious problem would be not enough people showing up to games with smaller rosters, so I don't know if such a restriction would be feasable (probably not).

I'm against that idea, it would only limit what squads players could join. It sucks that there's not a million squads out there but you're only going to piss off Pilots and Captains of squads.

I think next season will be just as competetive as last season, people just tend to take a break and move around to different squads for awhile after the league ends. Sure, we lost some guys that I wish we could've kept, but we've also picked up some new ones, and i'm sure we'll pick up a few more before next season. Will we be as good as last time? I don't know, and I didn't know last season either, but I'd bet $20 we'll be playoffs in at least 2 leagues.

Just don't stress, it'll be fun.
