So then what would you prefer, competitiveness or expansion of basers? I recall last year with 16 squads not one squad dropped out, except for Pallies. I think the learning experience for the squads that go 0-10 or very bad is still something very positive for their players

TWD was designed more for fun ... TWL more for competition. You have enough chances to get experience in TWD. There is a purpose for both setups.

It was like this last twl qualifications and it picked up to enough teams. Volcano forming, I bet we will have enough for 14 quality teams. If we don't we can always do 12 but we'll make that decision when the time comes.

last year was TeKs first year as a sqd and first twl and I must admit we got creamed {save for juice} but we were only a squad for 2 months just like some of the squads that are forming now and some of the other squads are starting to get more active now so I believe that there will be enough squads for twlb at least a 14 team if not 16 team and I will personally make ciggy make more new squads to compete in leagues. :grin:

To be Honest, i dont think the new cap of unionville, will bring enough players by twl comes, i mean decembers almost over, even tho it just begun.
As For Volcano, i think Vehicle and Flare will have enough members for TWL,so far my answer i think there should there be 14 teams, so everyone will have a shot in twl this year, and more competive...

Roy the problem is, once u start letting newer squads into TWL just to keep it 16 squads, or to expand it leads to dropout squads and unfair +/- for everyone. Im not saying every new squad will dieout, but it seems once a squad starts losing every week by large amounts they seem to die after 3 weeks and so on, or have a 5-7 man show.

Last year, not to sure about this, but I think only Pallies did a no-show for LB. The teams that got the "pity" TWL play, like TeKs, showed enough every match. You're completely wrong on this one Cig. It's the ambitious new people that will show up.

squads should be limited to 24 players, that mean each squad will have 3 rosters in it.

it will increase the squads number and will add more competion.

why squads need 45 players? :-\
