With Floyds and Barcada now out of the picture, things are a bit different.
-Final-
Disoblige
Anti-Scrub
Pandora
Dice
Spastic
Basingcrew
Sk8
Teks
Ancients
Volcano
Hillpeace
Again 12 active squads.
Additions for 14 squads:
Camisade - Not active enough, but deffinetly strong enough
Pirates - Same deal here
I guess it's been decieving. Although it seems a lot more activity has been running through the air, in fact it's the same amount. There are still 11 active squads with -Final- as the automatic shoe in. By the time TWD scores close for TWL qualification, Camisade SHOULD have enough games, but so what? You have a TWL roster of 13 solid teams? That doesn't work. THe only other probable team that would house any sort of competition has one game played in TWBD, Pirates. RIght now, Floyds would make it, but their roster has been stripped from any sort of competitive play. Tenure would make it too, their AVE R is certainly higher than Floyds, and higher than even Anti-Scrubs.... but are they a squad we'd really want to see in competition? Sure it's nice to bring newcomers into the scene, but they haven't shown any real signs of going more than 0-10 this season, which doesn't do anyone any good.
I applaud those that are moving from their traditional basing squads to other ones, but it doesn't seem to be enough, and I can see a lot of them moving right back to where they're comfortable, which would make for an even SMALLER TWLB season. Am I missing something or are we left at the same place we were three weeks ago?

all 3 leagues will have a squad or two that goes 0-10, or 1-9.. nothing new about it.. you cant expect an even league where everyone ends up with a 5-5 rec.. there will be power houses and there will be weak links. all leagues has it, doesnt matter if its from a game, or real life leagues. pirates can definitely get in twlb.. just play 14 more games.. aint hard :P1 + 1 = 1

Volcano for win. Enough Said.
On a serious note, Nethila is correct, every season has some squad (usually 2) that just rape everyone. And because of the conference rules, these two squads often don't even meet eachother throughout the season. And, retroactivly, there's always at least one squad that is horrible and goes 0-10. So I wouldn't be too worried about having the 14 squads needed for TWLB.
However, I would be worried about what happens when a squad dissolves because they're so horrible. Right now, the community has to hope for another basing squad to form during the season that will actually be able to pull players even though they aren't in TWL, which seems unlikely. But there is the other solution, a squad already qualified for TWL begins to play basing. While this may be even less likely, it would probably give better competition in the event of a drop out.Vehicle> ?help Will the division's be decided as well today?
