First squad to get kicked or dissolve?

A persons life is far more valuable than a squad in a game, your so out of proportion.

But any ways, no sense in arguing. The Staff made their decision to let them in, deal with it.

They are a good squad, and without them, the challenge in TWLD would be lowered some what, and no one wants that, we all want an overall, more challenging TWL.

I don't remember cheating in more than 3 games. All of those were just to have fun against squads like ancients and passion. I didn't terr much until recently. Accord/scoop/nethervoid/randedl played most of the twbds as terr. Take away all the points I played terr in and I'm sure we would have still made twlb.

This thread alone is enough to make people not cheat. I don't think anybody thinks "oh if I cheat then I'll only get perm banned and put my squad at risk of being kicked out of twl, no biggie!" TWL rules are pretty straight forward, people won't be dumb enough to cheat during a TWL game... well at least I don't think so.

As far as the "if someone cheats they should all be banned rule" thats about as smart as saying if someone jaywalks they should be put to death. You're argument that severe consequences means people will think twice about it, well let's kill anybody who jaywalks, and that way we won't have any jaywalkers. Go write a letter to your member of parliment and see how far that bill will go.

Bad analogy, because these people are working together as a team towards a common goal, and even the worst punishment they could get online is far less serious than death.

If cheating is a rampant problem, you're simply going to have to show the cheaters that the reward (winning) is not worth the risk (getting their entire squad banned and dissolved). A good way to nail this into their heads is to enforce a "one of you cheats, you all go" type rule.

That's beside the point, their captain cheated, and has cheated before. As an example to prevent this from happening again, they need to get kicked.

Doesn't matter how many games you "remember" cheating in, cheating once is bad enough. It also doesn't matter whether or not those games were to "just have fun", if you are going to cheat in games that "don't matter to you", what's to say you won't cheat in a game that is important for your squad? Credibilty out the window.

No, it's really not because there are a ton of stupidfucks that feel invincible and think they won't get caught. Not only that but since it seems like your squad might be feeling the consequences of your actions all of a sudden the topic alone is enough to sway the masses.

By taking a soft line against cheaters your just opening the floodgates, stop being liberalist douchebags and fucking do something that MIGHT SOLVE SOME PROBLEMS. If you think nobody else on the squad knew that Mythril was cheating than you obviously shouldn't be solving mysteries for staff. The thing that makes this even worse than normal is the fact that it basically proves the old argument that older players/squads are free from getting in trouble because of their experience on the zone. If this had been say... Speed, or Quicksand I honestly doubt that we would be continued to keep playing in the TWL season. The offense for a CAPTAIN of a squad getting BANNED FOR CHEATING is the squad gets DISSOLVED, Period. Now then, if the squad is Dissolved in TWD, then they are unable to compete in TWL, so which backass way did you not follow the rules to allow this? Zerzera the cheater is the right, why do you think so many people allow squads with cheaters, because you only lesson we learn is we can get away with it when you don't do jack shit about anything. Oh, and im fairly certain Mythril will be back in the zone in a few days after he explains to you that he wasn't hacking at all, what really happened was (insane bullshit excuse here). i dont think not disqualifying gv from twl because mythril cheated will cause more people to cheat in twd or twl games because then they will get banned from twd/twl and i dont think thats what they want! and if a squad were to be disqualified for one person cheating on the squadron then i think people will join a squadron and get asscap and cheat just to get the squadron disqualified! and to u people who say u aint got anything against gv but u want us disqualified is pretty dumb heh.

Give it up people, Grapevine will not be banned from twl so their is no real point on talking about this. TWL staff did the right thing, as well as the TW staff for banning Mythril.

People who are willing to cheat normally don't think they will get caught. And it's easy to evade a ban, it's impossible to keep your squad in TWL when it's kicked out.
