Anyone else amused by the spectator chat during TWL games? I am amazed at how many experts we have here. Even the seemingly useless people that are squadless and would never start on a good TWL team seem to be so much better than the players in the game. It's great seeing people call every single mistake the players make, as though they themselves are perfect. It's even cool how some spectators are experts on lineups-- even moreso than the squad's captains themselves!

It's not a big deal or anything, but it gets annoying seeing clearly useless people shit talking others when watching TWL games.

Just like how sport commentators are good at analyzing what they see even if they've never played a single game in their life. Its a bit different analyzing the game constantly from a 3rd person's perspective that a player may not understand.

yip but its part of the fun off sport doing that.

I watch English football and when me and my friends gather to watch a match we criticise players, line ups, manager decisions etc .. are we anywhere near good enough to manage a team or play in that division, off course not. But its part and parcel off sport to talk crap and it can be fun too.

I can see how this annoys you but as long as people who don't play twl turn up and comment on it then twl is doing something right as it is entertaining to watch not just play in.


Again the super eliteness off this community comes to the fore i'm afraid.

I'll echo P Drop. Why should what is said in spec chat bother you? People watch, people comment. It's the way the world works. Now, if they are pm'ing you spam and such while you are playing, then you have a point.

If your referring to voth, I agree with you 100%. I find spec chat amusing, people spamming, laughing and making fun of people makes me love watching TWL Matches. I believe spec chat is one of the main essences of TWL.

There's a command named ?ignore during the game ifor the people like voth. Maybe there should be an option when get into trench wars asking: (suggested) Would you like to put the name Voth on your permanenet ignore list? . Yes it takes time to type ?ignore <player> as you are playing your twl game, but a real good athlete (i wonder if you can call someone an athlete for pushing on some random buttons way too damn fast) will always find a way to get over any critiscism, its part of the game and it just gets yourself better if you take it as a good post-it note.
hehe, i used to do that when i played football, using post-its in my locker to remember what type of play i had to make when and where. good times.

Well, for one thing I wasn't talking about Voth. For another thing, I was talking about people in TWL as a whole; it wasn't about me or my squad. I go into TWLJ and see no-name people shit talking and laughing at Sika. Ok- yes, he sucked, but it just irritates me that people that who aren't even in a decent TWL squad are spamming and shit talking as though they would do better.

Yeah, I don't know why I even posted this in the first place. It's just something that irritates the shit out of me.
