TWL and the desperate make over it needs.

So instead we have the squads that keep joining an dissolveing mid twl cuz they suck. But if they still had a chance to win one of the 3 three crowns they wouldnt dissolve!!!!! and the squads that get into twl, always end up recruiting better players just before the first game of twl. just because they got in.


Im just saying maybe it's worth a thought. Ill stop replying now. Instead of just saying no to something thats never been tried, we all know theres problems with whatever the choice is, in one way or another. Current/new/old/ etc

i've tried that before, what typically happens is too many egos on one squad ruins it... hell, look at when disoblige and pallies tried to merge.. not really sure why it went down as i was on neither squad, i just know it didn't work

the idea is that you, yourself pascone can be forced to learn javs. I went from basing to learning javs in one season. If players were forced to learn other leagues to participate competitively in league, than we will have a better overall league, competition wise. The only problem is actually forcing people to do it, but we need some sort of change. Just an idea..

it's very hard to recruit anyone good to a bad squad, i've tried too many times to count. a squad like stray, wouldn't be able to legitimately great javs to join, what incentive would they have? forcing squads to play other leagues just for them to be in the one they like? they would just be awful in the other leagues and still only concentrate on the one. then people would get angry about the lack of competition.

Making TWL should mean something, this will force 1 league squads to be able to play other leagues. If a 1 league squad owns one league, they have potential to own others as well. Forces more competition into all 3 leagues, also forces more squads if you lower squad limit to 25.

well im not saying 3 league squads are bad by any account, i mean once a squad wins the triple crown thats hardcore awesome, but im saying you cant FORCE all twl squads to play all 3 leagues, that would be dumb, because technically there are some very good 1 league squads out there... and yes maybe they dissolve after a season but if they win a title they win a title, it still means better competition

Why not? There needs to be a higher Standard for TWL squads, this isnt twd. We've been doing it this way for years. And the dropout of twl squads gets worse and worse. You cant tell me that a squad like stray, cant recruit some decent javs?

we are all still on the squad chat, and are coming back before next twl. so, we are just taking a break, similar to what most squads do, though they just don't typically dissolve because they are bigger to begin with .. probably because they play multiple leagues

NO pun intended, but are they the best squad? Like you said 1 league squad and they are $ for it dont get me wrong, But where is that squad now?Gone!, Its not helping any other players in tw. Wouldnt you rather see all squads in twl be able to win the triple crown for twl? and have an equal chance and know they have played together and help other players and will be in twl next year and not dissolve? diso/dice/etc or a squad that losses two twlj games and dissolves in middle of twl? Plus adding alll the scores up from dd,bd,jd isnt gonna be that hard to figuire out and create a winning squad... even if your best is in warbird, and will probably win twld? but isnt are whole disscussion on this topic about not worring if a squad dissolving in the middle of twl?..

The squads that make it into twl this way will have a great advantage of recruiting different players for next season and there nothing to say we cant add more squads for the next season. just a thought.

too many squads try the "do all 3 leagues" thing and fail miserably, or become mediocre at everything but good at nothing... quicksand is a squad that wont drop out of TWL, unlike most multi league squads aka hydra, lifeban, etc

id rather be great at one league and get into playoffs then be mediocre at all 3 and not make playoffs for anything

One of the biggest problems TWL has is lack of squad leadership. I don't think requiring each squad to play each division will help that situation. Instead of going with roster limits or more extreme limits/requirements I think adding some hierarchical structures as some have mentioned for each squad in each division might work out better. Limiting players on each squad to a single division might also be too extreme.

disoblige never got a LD title mantra, wonder why? maybe if you focused on wbs, you would have a chance.... oh yeah, and also make sure you and pretty much your entire current roster doesn't play...

Hahahahaha... Disoblige might have never gotten a LD title... but they came closer to getting one then quicksand ever did... which is if you ask me quite sad for a squad that specializes in that 1 LEAGUE... LOOOOOL... LD is and always was Disobliges worst league... and even in that league you
"wb-specialists" weren't able to beat them... wow, I sure am thankfull for those 1 league squads, cause they bring lotsa competition...
