Mattey, I almost never post but your so thick headed that I felt the need to post. How hard is it for you to get it through your head that what Creature meant is that Chuckle fired at Ease, Ease's bullet hit Chuckle first, then Ease was "subbed," but due to lag, the sub counted, but it didn't spec Ease in time to avoid Chuckle's bullet. Now to reiterate again in a different wording since clearly you can't understand the first time you read things, what Creature is saying is, TECHNICALLY, Ease was subbed BEFORE Chuckle's bullet hit him, but LAG didn't put Ease into spec fast enough for the sub before Chuckle's bullet hit him. Basically, Ease's bullet hit Chuckle first, THEN Ease was subbed, but the bot didn't finish subbing him by putting him into spec, although it DID have time to check that Ease was still on 9 deaths at the time the sub command was issued, thus due to lag before Chuckle's bullet hit him "before" he was specced.

The amount of crying in this thread is ridiculous, just stop complaining already, it's clear that the TWL Ops aren't going to change their decision and if you keep up your crying it's not going to do you any good. What's even more ridiculous are the comments about how Thunder is cheap and always finds ways to use staff to their advantage (which is ridiculous considering they already lost one appeal this season, and last season in the TWLD finals they lost that appeal as well; and both of their appeals contained valid points whether it was "cheap" or not)

I went to Denny's, only 3 min walk from my apartment. It was good. I even had them wrote "Clutch Sub" in whipped cream on my pancakes.

And yes, we made Phizey practice everyday in subbing so he could time it perfectly; allowing us to get an extra death. But being the nice guy I am, I let zizu typekill me while I was laughing at our sub. I also turned on Vittu.exe to induce lag at the end. That way when I suicided Chuckle when he was at 9 or 8, he would just eat it and I would die, allowing pirates to catch up (I want Scoop to hurry and be a LD Champion).

I just recently heard there's no delay for subs on twl bots. Don't know if that's true but if so, maybe fix that before next week's games and we probably won't see this bug happen again. Also, I doubt a lot of squads will start to abuse sub to save a player. Why?

1. You're subbing out your starter for someone who's worse. Actually, please sub them out, much easier playing against raples
2. Too many egos clashing. Hear too many times, "Why was I subbed out? Could have escaped." especially if you still end up losing. Or you'll just have people leaving like Ardour I guess
3. Usually squads are already using subs to sub out 1-5s and laggots
4. IF the delay is actually implemented, too hard to judge if someone is actually going to die by a rush. However, if I'm rushing your player, might as well just sub him out quick, because I'll be on him like Kian going whalehunting


Therefore, no new sub regulations are needed. Seriously, this type of situation is the first time I've seen it as probably a lot of TW. But as Creatard laid it out in pseudo-code, no bot misfunction just lag.

I don't mind a replay because having Zizu in was already a joke game. That kid needs to first get good in his own ship (Guessing Shark? Since I always see him with 60+ deaths) before trying to play in wbs.

Yes, when a squad arguably exploits bugs, another squad will comment/argue the result. It is a pretty natural reaction. Thunder has had a varieties of shady situations happen so I can stick by my words. They will just do anything it takes to win. And about this only a game comment, I consider myself in good health: work out, eat healthy, work a job, go out with friends..but I am not the one that has to cheat(ja) or exploit to win in a spaceship game with trees.. So who is really stressing over a game? :Thunder:

Isn't it all common known that when someone does something in the gray area, the person who does it first would not get penalize, instead, the authority will create rules against it for any further people trying to expose this gray area?
