LOL sk8 already has a 35 person roster! so you want to make sk8 axe 5-10 people and then they'll start BDing more? u r funny. Plus we already have 8 squads with 20+ games played so chill. If you make squads axe people, they'll just axe those that hardly play anyway, a bunch of inactive players aren't just going to magically make new squads that are active just because they got axed. In fact being axed will just discourage them from playing at all.

if some of the more experienced basers want to encourage league parity i'll be more than happy to set up a basing section for Boss for the sake of having more competitive basing teams in the league. Most players are selfish and I don't see this happening, but hey, it's out there. just .?message thrill in game if you're interested

Yeah we have a 40+ roster but atleast 15 of them if not more only pop on once a month, maybe even less than that. Come twl we would probably have space on our twl roster as we wont add the inactives

Don't remove hard lock or we will see the same thing happen in TWL as we did in TWDT with Emofucks. Players will give up after few losses and try to go to other squads that they think are better. Just give players enough time to make up their mind on what squad to join after TWL squads have been announced.

As funny as it may sound to some, i am trying to bring sweet into lb and hence could use couple basers, especially those that like to compete in other leagues as well that we try to play well in. Let me know in-game if you are interested and we'll figure something out.

Also, it would be a mistake to not add every squad into lb that simply plays a lot of basing now, even though 95% of matches are lost. Make sure squads like loyalty (but they will prolly be top 5 at cut-off seeing their roster improvements) are given to play lb, because they consist of people from other zones (svs in this case) and you may promote activity to this league if you let them shoot for lb. Same story with trauma+.

i totally agree with vatican's urgency here. do it now. people'll get their legs underneath them in time.

reaver brought up a good point with allowing squads who've been around for a while to reep the rewards. even squads like sk8 and disoblige, who may have disbanded at one point or another but are back now, who have shown they can withstand the test of time and have solid leadership to fall back on should be given the benefits.

25 as a base for twd sounds good, 5 with each additional league for twl. then maybe give squads who have a legacy 5 more player spots on their twd.

Dudgeon needs 1 jav (finnish if possible) to fill in the twlj. Also 2 basers to make dudgeon active in basing section. Every1 will show to twl but its hard to have +6 players with such small roster as we have. If we dont get that 1 twlj jav and few basers, we will probably die before twl.

Pandora had over 40 a week ago and I've been axing good people in the hopes that they can join one of these squads and hopefully give them some more basers. I'm keeping many of the old players that don't log in much but have been on Pandora for years, with 25 or 30 spots this isn't a problem. We have already played a few BDs against squads who had only 6 using one of the players I axed. If the established 40+ squads do this there will be a very good chance of our having 8 TWLB squads in the tournament. If they do not, there will only be 6 squads who have played more than 20 games and won more than 5 of them. Keep your old players, axe some of your active players who will never start, apologize to them, watch them join loyalty or sk8 or all make a new squad, play against them, beat them, enjoy one last year of TWBD and TWLB.

Yes, seems like it is the last season of basing. Warbirds are next to die. Seems like only the javelin league has people left.

Vt, I don't necessarily agree that twld will die. Twlb is clearly on its last legs, but twld and twlj can both keep going strong. TWDD and TWJD have the same number of squads with 1000+ points, while twdd has 5 squads with 1300+ while twjd only has one. Not to mention that by just glancing at the total number of games across twdd and twjd shows that they're at the very least equal, and twdd probably has 100 or so more games played since the last reset. This doesn't say anything about the quality of players or level of competition, but saying warbirds will die next doesn't seem to be true.

And Ara, that's why I said if you remove hardlock, if only for a week in order to have a "free transfer" period as Ricko put it at the midway point of twl, you make it such that only non-twl players can join a twl squad in order to prevent this kind of hopping. You would have to alias check new recruits as well, in order to be sure it isn't someone just making a new name, but it could work.
