Look its nas, its the whiner!!!
ok there we go:
I can write a long story on this but I will keep it short.
-Solstice- just joined TWL. Fine, congratiolations have a nice TWL.
But: -Solstice- has been around since mai. When I remember solstice over the months they were known to have quite a large roster. Nothing wrong with that ofcourse. Sirius has been captain of solstice since the beginning, so looking at that fact there were no captainswaps or dissolvement of the squad.
But: as solstice was about to join TWL, the open spot was already announced by the thread of Kim before it was official and even before that period -Solstice- had the best papers of getting into twl, they have recruited 20 ! people during the period of lets say 8th june to 28th june. Maybe in a shorter period. 75% of the squad now says they have joined on the 6h of June, thats something tricky the twl ops have thought of to avoid the rosterlock. Even though they joined on a later date, for instance, the 25th of june, they are recorded as the 6th of June.
But: Dozens of people left Solstice during round 5 , 6 and later. Even Splatz and Stylez left Solstice during week 6. Now that we are in week 8 only, between week 7 and 8 solstice was invited to twl, all different people joined. Probably better, aliased people or people I just dont know. Also Splatz and Stylez rejoined. Also the timegap which was supported by the twl ops made it possible that some people played for squads in twl and now can play for solstice. (epinephrine told me it were two people)
But: some people may say: thats how it goes with new squads. Well I doubt that thats the case here. Solstice has been around since mai, and suddenly in the end of june there is a massive explosion of people coming to solstice when it is clear that they will be in twld. If you compare the behaviour of the squad solstice with Focus for example, you will see that most people in Focus were members since the beginning.
My point: the possibility for squads to ignore the rosterlock who were in twd already before the rosterlock, lets say for some months, can abuse the system. They see, read, hear they will get in, they get for about a week to get lots of players to replace their people who helped them building up the squad and then show up with new people at twl.
Additional comment: i have no problems with solstice whatsoever, let that be clear. But the way the rosterlock can get abused is an ingredient for a bad competition. And to say: Well solstice wont get into playoffs so who cares is not a reason to give some squads privileges(?).
I think this should be avoided next year because its quite obvious that it wont be dealt with this twl. I doubt if the twl ops care, because when I mentioned this to epi he said he didnt want to argue and he didnt care. Well way to go.
Peace out.
