Finally because Tiny is the captain of Faded, Faded has been KICKED OUT of Trench Wars Leagues. As there is no time to get a replacement squad, A-S will get a forfeit win this weekend in their game previously scheduled against Faded.

Please note that we do not tolerate double squadders in this league and I hope this proves our dedication to the end.

Hmm if Epi and Guano cut some slack to DASHSolsticeDASH I guess it would be safe for me to ask for that little rule to be bent thats keeping Bosshawk out of TWL. Then cripples would ask for the roster lock rule to be bent as well and so on and so on.
Rules are rules , if there were no rules then TWL wouldn't be running so well (at least thats what I think) I support epi's/guano's decision and I think what they did was fair.

a rule is a rule, you can't make argue against it being enforced. . . gimme a break

in the future, i know twd squads don't really care who they recruit, and thus miss out on the double squadding factor, i'd suggest that any squad entering twl is screened for double squadding in the first place, cuz it matters a whole lot more on the big stage, and the captain of the squad is informed.

gerb, i don't like yer idea, there's no way of telling how a game would have gone without that particular player playing. i don't rack up a crapload of kills every twld, but i get my 7-5 or whatnot and know that my playing helps my teammates, and thus squad, do better. barring a rematch there is no way of fairly determining how a player effected a game. and that's just not an option, a squad that plays fairly by the rules shouldn't be forced to make up a game because their opponent cheated.

the forfeit isn't a reward for the squad that wins out, it is a lesson to the squad that loses out.

and sirius, do you know what argumentum ad hominum is? look it up, you do it alot.

nice examples rand. I applaud you and you have changed/cleared my views on this subject because of the last olympic example.

but it still remains that not every squad can have someone well known and that everyone who starts a squad can be letting a double squadder in and there is no way to stop it. There just has to be a way for the captains to check who is double squadding. you can have hope and trust but that never get's you anywhere.

if the ops would really like to resolve this rule then somehow find a way for you for the capts to check or atleast assign someone to check for us. Especially when a squad enters TWL.

Argumentum ad Hominem has to do with fallacies, which, (ironic to say, since you accuse me of doing it), is what quite a few people retort vs me with, being I smother them hopelessly with un-rebuttable logic. When I retort vs someone, I may deviate from the main point to make some additional comments, but I never refrain from rebutting the main point itself, therefore the idea that it's a fallacy becomes void. Nice try, although I suggest you go back to your search engine and look for further complexes and/or arguing deficiencies which I may harbor.

frankly, i think you need to calm down if you want people to respond to you with respect. otherwise they will ignore your whole point and you will sound obnoxious.

Sirius... They're all just against you because you lag!!! But seriously, I'm gonna join up on the "SOTP WHINGNI PLZ UR MAKNG USELF LUK BADD!@#" bandwagon. You know, sometimes when a lot of people disagree with you, it's because you're wrong.

But anyway, obviously there's nothing that's going to be done here, and really it was just an unfortunate occurrance. Since not all squads can only recruit people who are well known it leaves those squads with the responisibilty to get double squadding checks done on members. Of course this isn't always possible either, so you have to leave your members on the honor system, which sucks. Thus you have to recruit people who are nice and you feel won't screw you over as much as you can (though obviously, not all squads can only recruit in this method to stay competetive. Not to mention that not all people who seem nice and trustworthy are that way.) Anyway, good luck in leagues next season.
