They certainly have the staying power to stick around, as in most of the player won't demand the title in the first season, and so are quite happy to play in TWL, however whether they will threaten the higher echelons I'm not so sure.

not a direct quote, but correct i will not face Pallies or Supremacy... with the only possible exception being if i had to face one of those squads in a TWL match and our squad only had 4 other people to play and needed a 5th.

I think Awesome is totally right, but shouldn't have said it the way he did. I believe Pirates are only beginning to base, and will be contenders for pure basing squads come time. As of now we own javs and wbs so HAH!

You don't just "own" basing in a month. As long as you keep awesome out of your basing matches, you'll do fine.

believe me Fit of Rage, i don't intend to base... almost everyone on Pirates except Primal, Exquisite, and Myself wants to take it over just so it can be said basically that we can compete with anyone. I'm sorry if i offended any of you basers out there, but the truth is many good wbs/javs players have taken up basing very quickly right in the month or 2 before TWL started and played very well.

Whatever, anyways ... the point is ZeUs!! was originally saying "oh pirates wont survive cus they cant compete with the elite basers" ....all i was saying is we dont even seem to care about basing yet... so why even compare us to those squads. If anything, compare to Dynasty, Rage, Syndicate, ...because those seem like the type of squads we'd compete with ... and even if we did decided to base, basing will NEVER be our main priority of the 3 leagues.. it'd forever be the lowest of the 3 on our list of priorities

Pirates won't win any TWLs (D/J/B) next season unless i see some massive roster changes, you guys wil be top 5, maybe top 3 in javs, not top 5 in birds and i doubt higher than 8th in basing, and basing is easy. It's still early to tell, but i know whos floating around and squads will begin to merge and be created as we close in on the deadline.
