Dream Teams- Circa 3

I'm not into the cureent basing scene but this is what i'd say.


Terr: Pure_Luck - the best active terrier, for the record this is the first time i've said anybody other than the big 3 (myth, warp and brook)
Jav: NOBODY! - theres no such thing as a great jav anymore because of the cram, okay thats a lie, but the truly entertaining javs to watch are in pubs now. Pearl Jam will be the best jav this season though (like last season, hey, i sense a trend)
Sharks: Whoever is the laggiest and best coordinated. I like RyanG's style but he doesn't lag much so i'm going to pick Crv and bleenorz
Spiders: to many to count, i'd have to be into the current scene to list anybody thats active, all i can list is the alltime greats.

Actually, I don't think he's forgotten. I think most people just aren't very willing to give him credit because of the lag "issues" swirling 'round him.

Which, actually, shouldn't be a problem this season since he got cable.

And hellz/a2m, I never said that Lunch3 is better than Blood, but when it comes right down to it, it doesn't matter how long you've played for as long as you can perform, and from what I've seen, they can both perform very well.

We'll have to see how the season plays out to know for sure.

5. I base my judgement off playing against people. Blood kills me, almost every time. He can dodge and he can aim. Lunch3 is better than me, but not enough that I've ever felt worried by him. I can't say that of Raspi, Domi, tobe, koan, and a slew of others.

And before I get accused of being just another vet asshole too blind to recognize new players,I'll name some newish players I'd picked light years ahead of Lunch3: Raidar, cumulonimbus, maybe Storage, meteorshower (Well, maybe not but he shows promise), vatican assassain.

People on spastic will note that none of you have been mentioned, mainly because I think your strength is teaming. It's not in anyway a slight against any of you.

What do you define as tanking shade?

Terr:
Depends on style of play. For a dream team, I would choose warp. Brookus offer the team great positioning in fr, but is a little too hectic in lower. WP is a good mix of both. myth will always be #1 at entering fr (wadi honorable mention for burst point freak)

Sharks:
Windreaper and Castromarx. I doubt there would be any opposition to these two picks. cast is awesome at flag control, while windy's reps always seem to work (rare!) windy also beats himself up for messing up, so you feel better when you get tked or he reps a mine into you because he feels bad

Jav:
Pearl Jam. lol at people mentioning names like "azurus" and "necromotic". Lets be realistic guys. Maybe these guys can step it up once or twice a month in .?go base, against shitty teams, but these aren't logical picks for a DREAM team.

Spids:
Always a toss up. I'd throw in bram, blood, ezo, and koan for maximum kills. while koan and blood are more the seek and destroy spids, bram balances them out with a rec mentality thats fueled by an ego as big as mine, ezo holds it together by being the "textbook" spid keeping warp safe and somehow always getting the terr kill.

Warbird:
div is quite annoying in wb. i havent played too much with wbs to name anyone else. although i will throw a bone out to jiu jitsu for going like 50-2 one base game while just staying in lower and spawning terr as it ran up tube.

the go base dream team:

terr: dttr (though I think he has a better future as a spid)
sharks: greven and stab
jav: no one can jav in go base
spids: stayon, megaman, cumulonimbus, suffi, tobe

smack aka maisoul honorable mention for sucking THAT much.

and stupid gerbil for best mid.

I think if you want a realistic dream team ... you need to add in spiders who don't care about rec but rather focus on all the other aspects of the game including protecting terr, covering bottom, pressuring nme terr, getting greens, running for flag touch. A lot of spids listed are good, yes, but good primarily bc of their recs. A team of all selfish spiders won't get any kills if there fellow teammate spiders are not willing to take a few bullets are worry bout the flag and the team.

So ... here are a few dreamTEAM worthy spiders:

Nuudeli - cares about team and gets the rec ... who can ask for more?
Eggs R Evil - doesn't get angry when his terr screams for the team to cover lower ... he does it w/o complaints and w/o worrying about the mvp
