Personally, I think I'm better than a 5 in warbird and 4 in basing. But, I actually prefer this. This makes me cheaper. Think about it. It's the captains that makes the draft decisions. They're not going for the expensive guys, they're going for the guys that get you the win while being worth the cost.

A good captain doesn't and won't rely on subjective ratings to figure out who is good.

Stop worrying about what other people subjectively rate you as. It's what the TWDT captains decide that matters. If I get drafted and benched, I'm going to be benched because the CAPTAIN thinks I'm unworthy and not because a panel of 9 guys rated me badly.

understood, but the rankings are also based on last twdt as well and maybe some people take my rating scale and throw it out the window and do their own subjective rankings. i have no control over what other people turn into me, i simply just do my rankings with the utmost diligence and then average out what i get from others

no i did not get you email, i did get rankings from vys and sertifi though, and i am ridiculously busy until saturday at the earliest....or maybe friday really late, so no updates until at least that time

I realize you are busy, and I'm not trying to bust your balls. I know everyone here appreciates what you are doing, including myself, especially considering wark and izor were supposed to do it and flaked out. I'm glad you even still care enough to keep this going, because this was a fun league last season.

Can I ask who gave you initial ratings for each player in the first place for you to compile that original rating scale? I think it does need to be tweaked and I hope you do.

I suggest going on last seasons TWL statistics to really give a better idea. Players with good averages in their specific league and really high 'highest kill' games should be 8s or 9s for instance, while players with below average twl statistics or just 10-10 recs with 10 kill 'high kill' games should be lower, like 7s.

I know I'm not supposed to talk about my own rating, but if you looked at that, you would see why I'm at least above a 7 in the wb category. I should be an 8 when I'm top 5 twl average and top 5 in 'high kill' games. That reads 'impact twl player' to me over 'regular twl starter'. The same will apply to other players if you read into it. Some players should be 8s instead of 7s, some should be 7s instead of 6s, some should be 6s instead of 8s, etc. Small tweaks, but they might help the league.


Also summa, did you get my email? I would like to have a confirmation, considering my school email doesn't have an "outbox" which really screws me up in making sure it got sent right.

Yeah check out my recent games and see the teams we play and the scores i get and the players i'm playing with, most of the time we're playing with basers or javs and i'm still racking up ridiculous scores. Funny how you didn't highlight #2 on twlm ladder, starting in every league of twl and most consistant player for pirates in twld. want to mention the 10-8 duel me and you had where you did about 50 laps of twld map. As for you ignite, i still have the poster you begging me to join Quake and being #1 wb in tw history.
Anyway come twl we'll see if you have the team you have now. Oh and scoop you can't even get a starting spot in quake for twl

also, if these were based on last seasons twlm season, then you need to reevaluate some things.

First off, i was top 5 in twlm wb in terms of value til the playoffs vs heavy, when i had two 8-10 rounds that dropped me off the top 20 list, and players like geio only played half the season vs newb squads, til of course his 1-10 vs quake, thus I played like 5 more games then him, watering down my ranking compared to his

plus, in terms of basing I am way better then geio, and he is a 6 and im a 5

basically I'm saying if geio is top 10 in rating then something is wrong here, and if I am below him in terms of ratings in almost any ship but jav then these are false ratings

but beside that, I guess low rating is good, means I'll get picked earlier

Edit: also in terms of rating 8 means impact twl player, 7 means twl starter

I was the leading player on dynasty in terms of average and kills and mvps, geio played 5 games and left after his 1-10 vs quake... so how is he an "impact twl player" and im only a "regular twl starter"? that doesn't make sense at all. Geio impacted dynasty during twl by 1-10ing then leaving to waterboy for heavy.

I'm trying to figure out where vys and scoop's ratings are, I don't see them...

I'll try to find the list again to rate people, cuz I know ppl like kid kaos don't have anything up yet... I'll spend a half hour and work on it for u summa, if it even matters anyway

I have the best average in twd i was the most consistant player in twld for pirates, i finished 2 on twlm ladder that's without playing the finals. I've took disoblige to top 5 on ladder. Beasting up all the other top 5 teams, you should check my recent games.
oh and also i was a starter for pirates in twlj and twlb, i had one bad round throughout the season in twlj that was vs thunder who went on to win it. Played every regular season in twlb as an under spider and did my job well. Can you list the guys Who's voted please?
