Let's be fucking clear about this: you're supporting Vehicles plan over Exalt's(/now also my) 'just shoot someone plan'. Having dayvig!jessup shoot me (scarlet) and you lynch guilty!kthx is, according to you, WORSE than having dayvig!jessup shoot nobody and die quietly in the night after a guilty!kthx lynch. That's the plan you're endorsing by voting/fingering me/exalt over Vehicle. The difference between these plans is that scarlet gets shot in exalt's.
You driving a wagon on me now is equivalent to dayvig!jessup shooting me. Yet, you're going after me for endorsing a plan where just that happens.
This only makes sense if either: you're straight up lying, or you think that scarlet getting shot is bad for town.
Seeing as you're driving a lynch on me over this, I guess that means that you're scum.

What's with this weakass posturing? I get that people are still fluffposting, but you're mostly not. The only scenario in which I could ever believe that either you (Voth) or Vehicle aren't scum is if you're totally incompetent.
I get that you're proposing the ideal (dayvig!jessup shoots guilty!kthx) but we all are, that's nothing special.
Even the fact that you'd be willing to let perfect be the enemy of good, if you weren't implicitly defending Vehicle and were just purely going after exalt/scarlet for having said 'just shoot someone', when you have the awareness of how jessup plays that you do implies to me that you're not aligned with town interests. You're willing to bet 2 lynches on the fact that jessup would make the optimal play (shooting kthx) but not willing to bet 1 dayvig shot on the fact that jessup would make the optimal play (shooting kthx)?

Vehicle and I both pointed out a mafia 101 idiotic suggestion that Exalt suggested and scarlet has somehow managed to continually support without anyone but myself and Vehicle pushing back on it. You fully neglected to address my arguments about Vehicle's plan compared to Exalt's plan, and continued to act as if Exalt's plan were worse without ever engaging with the argument. The only reason I can see to do this is to maintain the narrative that Exalt/scarlet were pushing for something antitown after being called out for being wrong about this. Town!Voth would have either addressed this or backed down on that point.
The second paragraph was largely directed at town!voth, regarding your reliance on a vague malaise about jessup's meta to imply that a jessup-vigging must be a bad thing because it's jessup-directed, without also accepting that you're relying on the same poster with the same meta to make the decision you've agreed with exalt after being convinced is optimal without a second thought.

Kassius I'm right there with you. If we can get through this phase then things should be better. I was surprised that the game started over a holiday weekend, and especially surprised at the activity. I'm treading water here trying to keep up.

Exalt I am completely fucking worthless this phase, and I know I can and should get some heat for it. The start over a holiday weekend took me by surprise, and the activity with the new blood really surprised me. I do not think scarlet is scum, mainly because of the playstyle. I know many of us who have been around a while have found the most success by being at the top of the list in terms of activity while being scum, but that goes against the natural inclination of how basically everybody plays when they are scum (which is why it works). I know these guys play mafia elsewhere, so I should probably factor that in more than I am, but I don't think someone brand new to the entire community would come in and dominate the spotlight if they were scum. Pure conjecture, but it's all I've got. Especially because the scum team could easily just sit back and let the Kthx and Jessup shitshow work itself out, and basically just sit on the sidelines for the day phase and watch a townie get lynched. I'm sure at least 1 of the more vocal players is scum, and it's probably the most dangerous scum on the team as well, but my guess is we're going to find the higher percentage shot to be on someone inactive. Which, ironically, puts me on the list of people to suspect.

The shitty thing about the holiday weekend means some people, like Kassius and myself and I'm sure others, just checked in and say the day cop shitshow and the alleged guilty result on Kthx, and parked their vote there. Kthx was the low hanging fruit, so if he is town, I'm sure some scum people were happy to hop on that wagon and then slide right back off. Anyone still voting on Kthx is, in my opinion: A) Voting him out because they don't like his word choices. As far as day 1 lynches go, that's not that surprising. B) Just reacting to shit way after the fact due to the holiday weekend and still hasn't caught up, or C) Scum trying to skate by since there are plenty of excuses.

Unfortunately I'm currently entirely worthless. Reading these conversations long after the fact and trying to catch up just isn't the same as seeing it play out in real time. I'll be back to my normal level of activity at work tomorrow, but I don't have a feeling on anyone yet because I'm so far behind and I've had to resort to skimming the thread, which is what I talk shit to people for doing. I don't see the logic on a Kthx vote beyond personal grievances. Vehicle hasn't struck me as scummy, he's struck me as someone getting pulled around by a shitshow of fake claims and fake results. That's all I've got. Ironically, I don't personally believe either Kthx or Scarlet is scum based off what I've seen so far, but it appears those are our only viable lynch options. I'm going to re-read what I can, but I am not on board with either one of these people going down day 1. Hopefully I can be of more use after this phase.

I'm also down for lynching Beast just as a policy. That's an open ended invitation moving forward, I'm just saying. Still pissed at his fake warning from the moderator and disappearing last game. Sour grapes here.

I can only bang my head against the wall for so long. I am all for thorough posting, but I can only respond to so many manipulative, half-baked, multi-quote shitposts (especially on mobile) before you have to pay me to continue. I've said pretty much all I have to say to you and justified my vote and my prior actions plenty. Must be nice not having to justify your prior actions - what with you disappearing during the most critical time of the phase only to resurface later to be accusatory.

Jessup that may be the case, but its hard for me to balance all that out knowing the issues you and kthx have had for a long time. You say you have a gut feeling, and that's all well and good. But this gut feeling is also on someone you tried to frame with fake results who you have a long history of having issues with. That doesn't mean that none of the "clues" you got from the decoy are plausible, but it's hard for me to sort through what was a clue or a tell, and what came up because you tried to frame someone who you have a longstanding grudge with. I'm having trouble sorting through what is what, and it's basically making it impossible for me to vote for Kthx today. With my luck I'll end up eating my words and have egg on my face, but I can't see enough to vote him out. Especially considering he's been having to backpedal and play defense for almost the entire 400 fucking posts (seriously you fucks?) thus far. You would think if he had teammates, they would have defended him harder, and if he had something he was trying to hide, something probably would have slipped. Again, I've been completely fucking worthless and I'm aware of that, but that's where I'm at with this whole situation right now.

Also, even if you push Kthx to get lynched and he flips town, there's no risk at all for you Jessup, since you're confirmed. This can be a good thing or a bad thing. In this case it strikes me as bad, because you can push a lynch on someone you seriously dislike, and you know you won't have to face any music if you're wrong.

the_paul This has nothing to do with kthx grudges. We actually semi made up and wished each other GL this game. It has to do with circumstance and the way he reacted. He was the focus of fake claim. I chose him for lurking and being useless. I did not like how he reacted and noticed a pattern emerge with others too who tried to shoot down my claim. He may very well be town but I feel strongly he may very well be scum too and feel the most info we can obtain from today is to either have him claim or be lynched and see how he flips. 404 posts is a lot to help show patterns and react how ever it goes if he swings.
