Amen Da1. I'm from Kentucky USA, and right in the area, people tend to think as being full of rednecks and hicks. We have more than our share here, but I'm no idiot. I appreciate truthfulness and when my own president deceives me, lies to initiate a fucking WAR, and now looks like he's trying to pass the buck to start a NEW war.. I get pissed off. PISSED OFF.
I want the cocksucker out of office, and he deserves to be in a prison cell. And by the way, smoke one for me, I quit smoking a couple weeks ago.

I honestly believe if Bush is re-elected there is a decent probability to see WWIII in my lifetime, and that is very, very fucking scary.

I am also sad that Jerome has posted twice and not acknowledged my existential vitriol.

Why im not going to ever vote for president of the US

1. the electoral College decides who the president is....not the American people....Therefore america is not a true democracy.....therefore my vote doesnt count....therefore Voting is useless and a stupid waste of time

As far as u foreigners who criticize america.....i try not to criticize Europe....so plz get off our backs...Dont speak until u have walked a mile in our shoes....until uve had two of ure largest buildings attacked in front of the world....until u have had ure nation demoralized by a group of terrorists....and until ure media has brainwashed u into fearing everything u do....because terrorists could attack at any moment....fearing that our soliders could be cruely subjected to beheading....and then broadcast around the world....u dont know what this is like....so plz do not speak about our benifits and what we do and dont know....im sorry our media brainwashes us...but it happens....and another thing.....WTF DO U KNOW ABOUT AMERICA...u watch the news and see only the bad things about us....u have never experienced the true hardworking fun loving Americans....all u see is an Ignorant leader....and thats all u choose to see....like i said im not going to criticize u ppl....but plz open ure eyes and see past Bush....see the true solider...just another young American who wants to make a living...and is caught up in something....so plz do not call us all ignorant and dont even start to criticize our leaders until u know what it is truly like to be an American.....its a lot harder to be the most powerful and richest nation in the world than u may think and come on World War 3.....get over it......we need a good war to lower the population.....either that or the bubonic plague again

Being 14 is hardly an excuse. Not even close to it. I do feel kind of bad that I was so rough on her, and granted I was really pissed off anyway when I wrote that. When I was 14, if I'd gone off with something equally brainless I would've been clobbered for it. Family Planning, One child per family ethics, only about a million better ways to accomplish population control including abortion, rather than war or disease.

I'm curious, as someone who at least attempts to be a chick why don't you support abortion? Do you support the use of contraception? If you said yes to the second one, how do you separate the two in your mind? At what point does preventing a pregnancy become killing a child? What if the parent is financial, or physically uncapable of giving birth to, and taking care of an infant? To try another tact, at what point is the government obligated to treat the child, born or unborn, as a person with all the rights and privileges bestowed upon any other citizen? Is it fair that the government force their standard upon the traditional values of the parents? Is it fair for the parents to force their values upon the child?

Sarien, back it off a notch. The abortion issue isn't nearly as cut and dry as you seem to think it is.

Sad thing is that there are probably many middle and upper class americans age 20 and over with the same opinion as her. As long as their families are benefiting in their white picket fence suburban neighborhoods, than more power to Bush. I don't understand why gay marriages would offend you so much that you choose to vote for someone who doesn't know how to handle money responsibly and loves to kill. Abortion might be a tricky subject to some, but why flip out of if some gay people want to get married?

Bush is a terribly public speaker but he's not an idiot. If you think he's a jabbering monkey maybe you shouldn't be such an easily manipulated tool of internet flash games and movies. When I have to give speeches I fuck up a hell of a lot too, but I"m not an idiot.

On another note, personally I've got no problem with gay marriage and I support abortion but if someone is against it you shouldn't say, well gee you must be a moron because you disagree with me. I'm assumming it's because of her faith that she disagrees with such things and don't say someone is weak minded if they believe in the church and what their family has taught them. In the majority of places it's people who would defend religion that would be in the minority. It's cool to not believe in anything and not go to church on sundays and make fun of George Bush, and talk about the church brainwashing all you want but there are just as many brainwashed college liberals who believe in shit without any real knowledge of what's going around them. Bush, and more importantly his fucked up staff, has just messed up too much, especially with foreign relations. On another note we should have a flat tax. I didn't feel like reading everything because I'm not in a reading mood. But basically, I'm against gay marriage because I'm Christian. The Bible says that marriage is an institution between a man and woman, and that's what I believe. Gays can still be gays, and that's not my problem, they can burn in hell . I mean, they might not be able to contol their urges, but that doesn't mean they need to act upon them. Like for example, people who molest children. I mean, they like to do that, but does that mean we should make it legal for them just because they want to? And as for abortion, I believe that's wrong too. Again, I am Christian, and I think sex is for marriage, so I won't have to worry about that until I'm married, so I shouldn't need an abortion. The difference between contraception and abortion is that in an abortion the egg has already been fertilized by the sperm and is growing, which means it's alive! Wow! So basically, it's murder. Contraception however, if used correctly, will keep the sperm from fertilizing the egg, thus preventing it from growing.

Wadi, in this instance it's quite cut and dried, not because of personal belief systems. Follow my logic if you will:

Were Pandagirl to say because of whatever reason she does not believe in gay marriage or abortion, so she will never marry a woman, or ever abort a fetus, because she believes it is wrong, and will urge every person she knows that such conduct is the right way to think. What could I say? Bam.. her life, her choice, her freedom. Rock on with whatever works for her.

You go talking about legislation for the aforementioned, you are not projecting your values, you are quite simply binding in legal chains selected groups of people that have as much right to their freedom as you do to yours.

If the anti-abortion people had an ounce of sense, they would simply find a way to transplant a fetus from one mother to another. See where I'm going? You can cry murder about abortion all you want, but the woman has the right to have in or take out of her body anything she wants. If the fetus dies from being taken out, so be it. But if anti-abortion people really want to step up to the plate, let them take on the fetus, and carry and birth it. Let's see if they have the courage of their convictions.
