cylor, i could make a long and winding speech, but the short of it is this: if you're against our political system, and say it's bad, etc. - don't fight it. pick a side. i support bush half because i hate the more altruistic Left (i'm an individualist, sue me- or do you not havve any money, apparently the government welfare sucks eh, go start a business) and part because i know bush is one step closer to the decimation of the american political system.
in the 1970's, hippies wanted peace. what they got was the Cold War.
in the 1980's, punks wanted anarchy. what they got was reagan.
in the 1990's, the "crowd" (what are they? trendy kids, punks, emo, indie, grunge?) wanted less government. what they got was two iraq's.
don't go against the system- government co-opts it. already the "fuck the system!" mentality is being raped by popular music artists and such, just work within, my friend. :P
