I don't know about you, but I think the answer to my question is a resounding, "YES!" I'm finding it easier than ever to get laid right now, but there's a catch. It seems all too often that women are now perpetrating one night stands, much moreso than guys. So yeah, you can get laid, but don't expect seconds, much less thirds.

Maybe I'm crazy, well no, I am. Maybe this is in my head, but I really think it's starting to happen. Women are more free and open and powerful than ever before, and it's making the whole dating/romance/sex life quite an interesting endeavor.

I agree, but I think the problem for women is there's still a double standard between male and female behavior. Men are still congradulated for their activities, and women are still branded with names like "whore" and "slut".

When discussing this same idea, someone pointed out to me that women may think they're liberating themselves by participating in casual sex as much as men do, but men are still the ones coming out ahead. After all, it's still a male dominated society, and men tend to get married to as young a woman as will have them. This is a problem for women because while they are spending their 20's and 30's "liberating" themselves, by the time they're ready to get married, they're going to be less attractive by most men's standards.

Biologically speaking a women is only available to get pregnant a few days a month... so we tend to keep our ovules and try to choose the "right guy" kind of thing that you all know about... while men always have a nice supply of swimmers and can empregnate a women whenever they want... unless he has got dryed out ^-^ , so they try to empregnate every single available women they find... this means that you guys tend to have much more fun than us... wich is not fair!! So instead of keeping up with that we thought "hum... maybe the hot headed male can be of some use for this night... maybe he can help me carrying the furniture next day since i'm moving out of town... and i can still have some fun with him! so perhaps women got tired of all that male dominating bullshit and all that biology crap and decided that we should start treating guys the same way... because we are so evil and we only want men to do our jobs and to finance our tours to the mall... Perhaps! Although since the 1920's that women drink and smoke "freely"... but it might also have some effect... at least in the 14 to 16 department... "how awfull of me to say that although i don't see it as a bad thing... it's just a part of growing up and getting mature..."

In between the years 1978 and 1987 womans average consumption of alcohol rose by 14% where as men's fell by 4%, and this was just a decade or two ago, no idea what it is now but according to latest news reports, woman binge drinkers are rising, whether this is just a UK thing or not though I don't know.
