I don't know you though, so whatever. My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

No, it's just that she said she's an asian girl, and quoted me like I was supposed to know her and mention her in my post.My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. Originally posted by Liquid BlueI was heading to school this morning, and got on the metro. It was about 11:30, so it was pretty empty. There was a white guy sitting with his asian girlfriend on one side, and the other side was kinda empty. I was about to take a seat on the opposite side, a few seats back, but there was some gum there so I just sat in the same isle as them, maybe 2 seats behind them. A little while later this asian guy sits in the same row of seats as them, just on the opposite side. Everything is normal I guess, until the girl puts her head on the white guys shoulder, I guess that's when the asian guy first noticed her. He looked over there, and got this kind of..not disgusted look, but kind of the look like " you're with him?! " on his face. I hadn't really seen that happen before, although I have seen some emo asians on forums complain about all the asian girls going for the white guys, woe is us, the asian male, etc etc ". They basically think that the asian girls who go out with a white guy are traitors, are trying to conform to a white-person lifestyle (I forgot the name they had for them, but it was for when an Asian girl tries to act white). A few also seemed to project that it was an insult when they saw an asian girl with a white guy.
What I was wondering, is do the asian guys here feel the same way? Do you have relatives, maybe some from China, Japan, Taiwan, etc that grew up over there and think the asian girls here are "traitors"?
Another thing- I don't know if Bio was dating a white chick, or if TK has dated one (sorry don't know many other asians off the top of my head here)- but would your parents frown on you if you brought home a white girl? Are they strict in the idea that you have to marry an asian girl?

I think it also has to do mainly with traditional values. In regards to the chinese (i don't know much of how any other 'asian' cultures are) As someone mentioned the chinese have been quite isolated, thus being more centrilized into how they've been in the past, oh 3000 years. Mind you china has one of the longest lasting cultures in the world, I think the aspect of having a other coloured mate is harder on families who are too used to the values they've had before they've got to the more 'western' society. From my own experience, considering my family's been here for over 20 years, they'd be more lenient in seeing me with a different racial girlfriend, compared to maybe a family who just came from china.
